Here's a like from a Georgia fan! Yall got a good one. Best recruiter in the Georgia staff. One of the best in the country, and now hands down the best recruiter of the NE region period. He's got some really good players at plenty of schools who absolutely love him. Look out for some good transfers.
18:39 Mark…A good selling point to transferring from a top program to Syracuse is Playing time and yes,NIL money.Being at Georgia is great but if you are sitting on the bench as a back up,hey come to Syracuse..you will start here
One of THE most fundamentally sound running backs I've ever seen, either in college (Cuse) or pros (Colts). He wasn't flashy, but was solid and got the job done. I never saw him fumble. Unfortunately, not a long career in the NFL, due to him blowing out his knee, but enough to contribute and get a Super Chip!
I think Fran's first big gets need to be some big strong fast defensive lineman and a really good quarterback. It's a double edge sword though. You hope he turns the program around and puts SU on the map, but if he does, a bigger school will probably snatch him up and we would be back to square 1
I guess this is the best way to make a change a lot cheaper than a proven winner, but grabbing a proven recruiter. Let's face it, talent is the key to winning in sports.
It could work if Syracuse is willing to not only recruit, but also tap into the transfer portal. Let's face it, there's plenty of talented players riding the bench on teams like Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, and even Texas who could be willing to transfer if it meant they'd get playing time. If Syracuse can recruit well (which given Coach Brown's reputation is definitely possible) and if they can pick up some good transfers in the portal, Syracuse could become a threat in the ACC. Look at what the portal did for Coach McIntyre and the SU soccer team, it lead them to a championship last year. Sometimes it's worth taking a risk. We'll just have to wait and see.
Great Hire.Lots of good players sitting on the bench at top schools can come to Syracuse and play right away.Fran Brown can get these guys to come here with some NIL help.
He doesn’t have head coaching experience. He also doesn’t have coordinator experience. And best recruiter? He recruited at Georgia. Other than Alabama, is there an easier program to sell? Lots of red flags.
Dino babers biggest issue was he was too in love with running qbs who really couldn't throw the football worth a damn i just hope Fran Brown can recruit some good qbs.
Need an Offensive Line. Look at Tommy Devito. Giants QB, but at SU was sacked the most of any QB. Then he was great at Illinois, because of the Offensive Line protection.
How bad of a recruiter could you be at Georgia or Alabama or Ohio St or Michigan? You want to compete for a National Championship you want a shot at the NFL you want to play on TV each week against the best players. You want to play in front of 80000 to 100000 each week. You want to meet girls? Georgia is the place.

This is a critical point - there are quality players on the bench of other programs who might start at Cuse.
Great show, folks! Count me in!

Break out the Mungro Highlight reel!

Phoenix (the one in Arizona) is excited for Fran Brown! Frank Maloney was 34 and Ben Scwartzwalder was 40 when they were named HC at SU!
Friends! What do you think of the Fran Brown hire?

He proved his recruiting bones at Temple, Rutgers and Baylor.
