I second that. People, people who love cats are the most beautiful people in the world - semi paraphrasing Barbara Streisand's evergreen hit song: People. I support store cats because these beautiful angelic fury ball creatures phenomenally stimulate us, churlish and crabbish dumb- witted humans, to migrate from our grouchy demeanour into the light of environmental and creature appreciation. May Almighty God continue to inspire shop owners to keep cats in their stores.
Wow!! THRIFTING & kitties?! I wish I was close enough to shop here but I definitely will stop by if I ever pass through SLC! The dilute orange tabby is SO HANDSOME. HEck, they're all purrfect 😻

My favourite Garden Centre has a cat who supervises the tills.
There are many shops in Amsterdam that have shot cats living on site and are very friendly to tourists, or at least to me.
