Thanks for watching👍 I have yet to get one that big during the day, but night fishing the bridges with jigs has produced a lot in the 35-36 inch range down here. I'm still hunting the 40+
Jake ..my Guess on the redfish ...14” - Lol ..nice video..was is Estero bay yesterday..water look pretty good ..but if you were in the area with boat traffic...my throat get irritated... I think the motors were aerating the red tide..still found some fish..nothin to brag about.. fist the Matlacha area about a week ago.. water quality definitely better there... but fishing was slow...very skinny water.. but I’m still learning
Jake I'm not glad to hear the news but I can certainly attest to the bad fishing. Great trout and I'd guess the Redfish at 31... Don't you wish you had just scratched you rpaddle of something to measure later haha I know you do. Hey @JakeW KayakFishing Im new at this and wanted to know a good launch site down in the 10,00 0 islands area. Not looking for any secret special place. Just a place to launch. I'm concerned about getting lost so I'm using a phone app. called My Tracks to track where i am. I'm taking things slow ,, Anyway thanks. That Snook is a giant. Holy moley. JakeW, hope you are feeling well and staying safe. Thank you for the vid.
Thanks Steve. I launch at the Gulf Coast Visitors Center(ranger station) in Everglades City. I did the same when I started fishing there(explored slow, a bit farther each trip). Hardly need GPS now.
That is the biggest snook I think I have ever seen. A snook is a rare catch in Pensacola. Enjoyed, thanks for sharing.
