Not the same but in Fable (TLC) you can buy any upgradeable house, then place a trophy there, sell the house with increased value, break into the house while no one is watching, remove trophy, buy the house again. Do it over and over again, while you keep the subtraction of original value - increased value. Easiest way to make money quick. Other method would be to play the Arena quest until 20000 gold, then exit the whole quest and do it all over again.
In anniversary atleast you can buy max apples from the vendor in I think bowerstone and sell them back for profit and then you can go to the home village and buy and sell max emeralds and you can even stack the emeralds for even higher profits
There's a way to make the system think you are selling way more of something than you actually are. Lots to type out but there's methods on UA-cam for both PC and console
Got another easy and quick way to make money early on, buy weapons in bowerstone old town and resell in fairfax garden as their prices are a lot higher and selling price is high as well, rinse and repeat for 30 minutes and you’ll have over 100,000 gold before oakfield
Sorry to bother you but I can’t seem to find Fairfax anywhere. Could you help me out? I’ve looked everywhere on the internet and still no luck finding it. Not sure if I need to progress in the story or not
easier way, while kinda annoying at first is to buy the blacksmith in anytown and get the discount. You can also find the sales from any of the sale tabs and then go to the castle area. Once there, become friendly with the merchants and you will get a market increase. you can then sale a 6k sword for almost 11k. best part, no one hates you and its infinite. Best way, if you want a good route
That is a good way. The only problem is you have to do it again and again. With the way I showed, after working at it eventually you won’t have to do anything. You could even turn the game off and still make money.
the trick is to give the warrents to the sherif at the begining of the game. reach max atractiveness, max scariness, and max relation with the store owner for the weapons stall. you will now get a garunteed 75% discount. purchase all the weapons. go to fairfax gardens, and make yourself ugly, funny, and hated. you will now be selling these weapons at a 75% mark up.
you will make enough money at the very start of the game (just after you reach bowerstone market for the first time) to begin the game with full master work weapons with full augmentations, and every house in the entire city in less than 1 hour.
I went from 12k to a million In just over an hour. If you saved old town as a child you will get a 50% discounts at all stalls in that area, buy all the weapons you can afford, then travel to Fairfax Gardens, find a weapons vendor there and sell them all for at least double what you paid. I kept repeating that method then after a while I bought the blacksmith in bowerstone market, which gives you a 39% store discount. That gives you two nearby stores to clean out then unload at the Fairfax travelling vendor for massive profits. Without a doubt the fastest way to make money, then you can start buying property and just letting the profit roll in.
You can actually set the game systems clock ahead 8 hours, collect the money and put the clock back where it is supposed to be, reload, set the game systems clock ahead 8 hours, collect the money put the clock back, reload the game... Do this over and over. This works because the time for rent to come in doesn't go by in game time but in real world time instead. You can't really go over 8 hours because the profits stall out after 500 minutes and you won't earn any more after that, just have to keep repeating it at like 8 hours.
Nea....the price reduction system is busted in fable 2, u just go to the jewler and buy the shop, buy a diamond (with price reduction for being owner), sell the shop, selll the diamond (without price reduction). Buy the shop again, buy the diamond, go sleep 24 hours, buy another diamond, sell the shop and repeat steps. In 30 min u will do 1 mil gold. (U don't have to buy just the diamond, u can buy everything, but it depends how fast u are at navigating menus). And yea after u get that 1-2 mil gold, u can buy every property and get that passive income of 5-6k every 5 minutes.
I remember as a kid on fable one I used to buy 3 houses on the same street, do them all up and sell them for a profit, then break in that night and trash the houses so I can buy them back cheap again in the morning 😂
A better way IMO from a long time fable 2 player...get all the black smiths to like you (love if you're playing a female characte) buy weapons from them..then go to Fairfax gardens and find any trader thats selling/buying weapons ..then sell them your weapons..wash and repeat. Don't get the traders to like you tho or they won't give you as much gold.
give the warents to the sherif at the begining. when you reach bowerstone for the first time do not do the job like theresa wants you to. instead: go to bowerstone old quarter and purchase weapons from the weapons stall. go to fairfax gardens and sell the weapons. if you use the ugly/atractive and love/hate associated with outfits you will make around 100k each run after you have the start up cash. with this method: you will have masterwork weapons before leaving bowerstone, and you will own the entire city of bowerstone (including all districts). should take about an hour. after two hours you should have enough for pretty much every property in the game.
What no one tells you: Bartender > any job It's the easiest skill compared to the rest. The multiplier is every 3 pints. You can get 600 gold per pint if you focus for 5 mins (5 star ranking). My record is 975.
I did this on my last game save I went around the gypsy camp and bought all the caravans (workplace or just a home) and set the rent or the price up to +100 on all of them, one I started making money off that and I could buy bowerstone stalls without is seriously affecting my money I bought every stall in Bowerstone then the Oakfield then in Bloodstone and so on until I was making like 20 grand a day and then I went around and bought up a lot of the shops and bars and houses and rent those out/adjusted the price on them. It was good too because I was playing an evil corrupt playthrough
Buying and renting out is good early game but later on you want to buy cheap and sell high, yeah it's somewhat messy but rewarding at the same time specially if it's a 50 to 90 percent discount on goods meaning you'll make nearly double back, think last night i had 200k and got all the expensive weapons on discount, went to bowerstone market and sold them for 75 to 90 percent of the price giving me a totally of 400+k once sold so for what you can get early game in 24 hours you can make quadruple that in trades assuming you don't have many properties.
You know I didn't know you could just set your vents to the max price and the game will force someone to pay it. With that in mind you can always rent out your caravan Palace they give you in the beginning of the game after your sister dies.
@@tvbot1984 over time this effects prices, aswell. the NPCs will pay more/less when buying items, and items will cost more/less depending on how much they hate/love you, and how ugly/atractive, and how funy/scary they find you. evil increases scary, and purity increases atractive. renown also effects this.
To be more accurate. You receive rental income every 5 mins when playing the game. When you're not playing the game you receive income every 30 mins. However there's a catch... You can't just not play for a week and expect to be a millionaire next time you sign in. It's on a curve, where you receive less the longer you leave it. It would break the game if you revisited fable after a year and then found out you had too much money that you didn't even need to buy property to earn rent from in the first place.
A even easier way is to simply purchase goods from business having sales and reselling at businesses that are paying out an extra 50-100% for the same item... Turned $12,000 into $185,000 SUPER fast that way and then used that money to buy property... Jobs is the slowest way to make money?
I started at the blacksmith brought the blacksmith then brought loads of properties and made it less and brought loads more but bowerstone kept hating my clothes so put all there properties up to plus 20 and I was making 20k ever 5 minutes I’ll lower it again once they’ve stopped bitching
Yeah I believe if you rent out a property and don’t change the percentage they have to pay and keep it at the default then you don’t become corrupt, there are also some faster ways of getting money in the comments section

However, if you want the max income you can donate gold to the temple of light and that should even out the corruption you get from the high rent. Changing the rent causes the economy to change. A lower rent means the village or town stalls and businesses will have better items to purchase and the local guards will be the stronger ones.
