I had an issue with one of my wiiU pro controllers where one of the circle pads was sticking. I cracked it open and to my surprise, the cube shaped metal casing that holds the ball joint was RUSTED, of all things. How would you suggest i clean that without desoldering? (i dont have a micro solder) my dad suggested contact cleaner but that doesnt REMOVE rust, it only protects against it.

White Vinegar over the rust to negate. Brush over with isopropyl alcohol after.
Should stop the rusting from worsening.
