The devs knew what they were doing when they made all the Risen Chamelios armor pieces that have Buildup Boost mix perfectly with the parts of Gold Rathian that have Status Trigger
Also something that I'm not sure many people have realized yet is that it ALSO pairs insanely well with the Lucent Nargacuga weapons, as they have good attack and sharpness, as well as a small amount of poison, which pairs with the level 3 Chameleos Blessing that you get from the two pieces that have Buildup Boost.
@@professorpenne9962 yea but then you have the immortal build with bloodrite 3 , recovery up 3 , partbreaker 2 , defense up 7 , defiance 5, elemental attack 5 , stun resist 3 , windproof 3 , weakness exploit 3 , crit boost 3 , maximum might 3 , peak performance 3 , power prolonger 3 , rapid morph 2 , burst 3 , fortify and spiribirds call Managed to get that legit without any cheated talisman ( on switch ) I doubt i'll be switching to status soon with cb You can face tank anything and stay full hp if you just spam air dash in sawblade mode
There's so much that went into this chameleon compared to world's arch tempered. This chameloes has such a great expression to it, instead of the normal derpy look this one looks like it straight up wants you to die. plus its design and new moves are sick.
A strat you can do with Rathalos when Wyvern Riding is to get him to land (through a weak attack combo or intentionally getting hit), and then spam his grounded attack, which is fast, spammable and does decent damage.
Very nice hunt Uno! It seems the new skill will be extremely good with status trigger, foray, etc. I'm glad status is becoming somewhat meta again. I can't wait to see what you do next!
The anti species rampage decos give like a 5% damage buff, so augment your weapon for a higher rampage slot would immediately increase your damage output with a 1 rampage slot weapon.

Hey Uno I thought I’d let you know that there is a setting in the options menu that lets you not activate the monster mounting upon hitting the monster. If you disable it you can sheathe your weapon and press A to mount it, that way you don’t loose damage in the middle of some combos 👍.

I hear you say riding rathalos is the worst since his strong attacks have long windups, here's a tip: you should use a light attack first(his talon move) and that will flinch the monster making it easier to land a strong attack(it can also poison monsters) its a continues move so you don't need to waste a wirebug
Yeah I get to explain Buildup Boost! Buildup Boost increases your RAW attack power when you hit a status proc. 20% More RAW ATTACK at level 3. Combos very well with status trigger. Enjoy this absolutely busted skill.
@@davidhower7095 would you mind telling me your armor pieces and build, perhaps I can help get one level of it on the set, level 1 is 10% which is still ridiculously good.
@@davidhower7095 Okay I see what’s happening. In order to get the 10% at a minimum there’s certain things you’d have to lose, since buildup boost is locked to a set. If you’re trying to max raw, there’s a case for replacing the Lambent wristrays with the Risen Mizuha Arms, they have 4-2-1 in slots, 1 buildup boost, and 1 Chameleos Blessing, I see that you want the evade window as well. But I do see the augment on those wrystrays is really good, can I ask what decos are on the wrystrays specifically? Because depending on that may be what changes my thoughts on what can help. Also Props for using the elegant Fragrance, one of my favorite lance options, it’s stupidly underrated.
Honestly, from a glance, it doesn’t look like you need buildup boost all that much, the 10% is more attack than adrenaline rush 3, but the difference might as well not exist, it’s like 15 raw maximum, but you can still have adrenaline rush 1 so that does make a slight difference. Overall your build is awesome!
The poison ailment Is a joke in this game because the wirefall and even more with the herbal medicine/powder, you either get up almost instantaniusly or cure yourself.
Hey Uno, hope all is well… not sure how I really feel about Risen… I think I might prefer base Cammy over the Risen only because I’m not a fan of monsters who mainly do AOE moves most of the fight… I guess it wouldn’t be much an issue playing range but most of the G rank monster have anti counter moves… I think his coloring is cool and armour skills are cool but I don’t think I’ll ever really like the hunt but I guess if one would wear full Teo it wouldn’t be as bad idk 🤷🏾♂️ 😂

@@octanefan...6788 watch out for its super attack. if you see him pose up, sheathe and SUPERMAN DIVE. dont risk yourself dying for that one attack. also, keep note that he WILL follow up with ANOTHER super blast attack midair, so youll need to divebomb again. use the endemic life to your advantage as well. sleep-bomb him, slam him into the wall. elementally exploit him if youre using an elemental weapon. and, you can use your palamute to sharpen whilst you dodge as well. also use flashbombs too if youre in a pickle. also, you will be severely punished if you use mainly aerial attacks. you cant dodge in the air if you commit to an attack. this also applies when youre on the floor. but, its more prevalent and futile when youre in the air. speaking as an aerial dual blades player.

@@Porlo116 Pairs just as good with the Flaming Espinas weapons that have poison on it while having the fire element.
charge blade mains eating very healthy with this update, poison was already the impact css meta and it just got even more powerful

The secret rathalos wyvern riding strat is to get hit once, then spam his grounded moves as they're much faster and deal equal damage to boot

the fact you play really save by nature made your hunt with Chameleos a lot easier, those poison attack don't mess around.
Now that you've had a taste for all the new monsters, who's the most difficult for you? For me, I'd be Violet Mizutsune and his fast movement.
Violet was definitely the hardest, then Flaming, and Risen Chameleos felt the easiest.
Chameleos was really the easiest of the 3 new monsters
But all if them have a really cool combat, not disappointed at all
