There were 5 of us in our party and we ALMOST finished it. We got the one with the cherries and everything. It was so good! My grandson's eyes got as BIG as saucers when they came out with and put it on our table right in front of him! His expression was priceless!
Tried it, defeated it, will do it again.
Great fun and yummy.
Finished ours and was given another tables half completed one.
DO IT, DO IT NOW.
Ha ha!
Dropped this 🧢
6 of us tackled this and we couldn't finish it. Then the booth behind us (mom, dad, and two kids) ordered it too. The mom and the kids had a few bites and bailed. The dad sat there and finished the whole thing... #truestory
wow!! LOL! was it a skinny guy?
he wasn't huge, but he definitely wasn't skinny
Charlie Shay sounds like my family
Charlie Shay Damn the dad’s a savage!! 😂😂😂
I finished it solo in 45 minutes and got it free... Then I went next door and threw up, it was still cold coming up.
Remember a chain of ice cream parlours called Farell's? They had a dish very similar called a Zoo. When they brought it out they played a siren and made a big deal.
Yep; very similar!
The single greatest ice cream spectacle known to man!
Do you get to keep the sink afterwards? I would totally do this with another person.
three of my cousins and I were left at the resort while the adults went out& we all wanted to go get ice cream. the kitchen sink was literally cheaper than if we each got a sundae 😂 it was amazing!!!
Just watching this made my pancreas shut down. Too...much...sugar! Great video, though. Thanks!
It has cookies and cream now instead of coffee and it was delicious. and it's now $32. Kitchen Sink (serves four)
Scoops of Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Cookies and Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chips smothered in every topping we have. Also available Chocolate Lovers or Neapolitan
would i be correct in assuming that you work at beaches and cream? (because you said smothered in every topping WE have)
Did it twice- totally destroyed it& I finished the ice cream soup YUM! Under $30 is a deal😋 oh and we have photos ,😎
we have a reservation for our upcoming trip, 5 of us will have a go! last time i gave up first but himself soldiered on and got it tackled.... i love the cake bits best!
We have done both Kitchen Sink's at Beaches & Cream and PCH Grill in Disneyland. We must have been more hungry at DL because we had no problem finishing it there - haha!
I finished about half by myself with my sister (who basically only ate two scoops) before I gave up. xP
We were 2 and we ate the 1/3 of it. But still, it was amazing.
Being allergic to dairy and gluten this would destroy me!! Haha! Looks really fun though to share though!
We are going to Disney soon 😱 I can’t wait there is cake on it
My family tried to "original" kitchen sink a few years ago...and were defeated! I didn't realize there was a chocolate lovers version! I think I just MAY need to try that one next time we're at the Beach Club resort! Great video!!
I’m going to Florida in may with a member of my family and we are gonna try this
When you said, that ordering the “Famous”Kitchen Sink is more about the experience rather than the ice cream, that could not be more true
The no way jose great when you eat alone, but you should have more people to finish this off.
oh boy oh boy oh boy!!
I went with my family to Disney, a either three or four maybe five years ago, and we went to Beaches and Cream for the very purpose of ordering the “Famous” Kitchen Sink Sundae
they say never say never but NEVER!!!
Even as a big eater I couldn't finish this even with two people helping me.
We might go back again one day and give tackling the sundae another try, but other than that it was really a one time thing just to try it at least once.
Yes there was 4 and we ate it all
Just don’t have lunch before tackling it
I would have it without the pound cake slices, I know it sucks the fun out of it but you're already full with one of those!
I just want a Shake or Ice Cream Soda.
Man would I like that!! only problem, I am solo on this trip. I don't suppose I could get a "Pluto/ Mickey Bag"?
I just got one!!
I had a kitchen sink once-maybe twice...cant remember if we finished it though...
Tried the Kitchen Sink years ago with 3 friends - we ALMOST finished. :)
Looking @ the menu on your vlog - the grilled banana bread with peanut butter sounds YUMMMMMMM. I love the Nose Way Jose Sundae here too, especially since the wimps over @ Ghirararedelli's stopped serving anything with peanuts!!
We had this today, we finished it and to top it off I also had a milkshake too.
Did the cast members make the announcement & do the thing with the lights as well?
Sweeter than sweet cHOCOLATE CHEEKS AND CHOCOLATE WINGS
RIP Joey ✊🏼
My parents and I ordered this, when the announcement was made I took a bow. LOL. unfortunately, the mint chocolate chip and coffee scoops were my undoing, can they make substitutions on them?
Totally worth 1 Snack Credit😋
Snack credit..I think it is TS credit. I worked/booked these experiences. It is TS. Worth it if you love sweets..
Theresa Wooten I'm not sure if you knew I was just being silly or not(and maybe you knew), but even still - thank you for that awesome info! The closest I've ever gotten to something like this was the "Volcano" at Rainforest Cafe. This definitely looks more intimidating☺
Do they have a version you can take home or a smaller version because only me and my wife are going to be going and there's no way we can eat that but I still would like to eat out of the kitchen sink could be kind of interesting
You better have 911 on speed dial all I'm gonna say about this lolz
They should have called this Sundee: Diabetes
Four friends and I finished this in under 10 minutes and then all had a grilled cheese afterwards.
Although I believe we were kind of close to finishing it
Do the cast members still make a huge announcement when someone orders it?
If not, why did they stop?
we tackeld it with 3 buth we didn't eat lunch >.< it was awesome
My family just tried to eat this. We failed. We should have ordered the Minnie and Mickey one that is smaller.
My family has five people in it, and we still weren’t able to finish the whole thing
Randy Santel would eat this.
Is it possible to request they leave off the cherries?
can you use dinning credits for it?
Yes. I worked for Disney Dining. It is 1 table service!!
I bet I could do it if there were no cake slices 😂
Thank you!
So do you keep the sink?
No..... unfortunately you don't get to keep the sink.
Just looking at that gives me a bellyache. I’ll stick with the No Way Jose
I'm pretty sure I gained weight just watching the video, lol. You could take that same $30 and buy some nice souvenirs to take home with you instead of cavities ;) Still, Beach Club is a fun place to stroll around (and go swimming!!) and the Kitchen Sink looks like it would be fun to make.
Would it be REALLY weird ordering it without whipped cream?? It seems it's a big part of the experience... but I really don't like it.
I was just thinking I'd ask them to leave the whipped cream, gummies, coffee ice cream(eeew), and cherries off for myself. Order what YOU want. No reason to pick through something you'd rather not have.
They can also do whipped cream on the side if some people in your group want it but not others. Comes as just a huge plate of whipped cream, but at least it's an option! 😅
In Borat voice: I LIKE!
Is this still available?
Always is. It is a staple of the restaurant and the resort really.
They have had it at least since the early 90's! Had it as a small kid (and I'm 30 now). when my dad goes to FL on business, he likes to stop at beaches and cream and inevitably someone orders one of these while e is there...i really hope to be able to go back myself someday-but i dont know if we will get thsi sundae-since there would only be 4 of us, and some of us dont like big meals (my hubby could prob eat half by himself though...)
A WHOLE CAN?!
CJ Richards A WHOLE CAN!!!!!!
We actually don't offer the coffee ice cream anymore
I have diabetes now after watching this...
I would have to be the cheer leader. I don't care for ice cream. It doesn't look appetizing to me at all! $28.99 is alot of money! Is it really worth it?
If you get 6+ people eating on it that's only $5 per person. If everybody ordered an individual sundae you'd spend more than that.
Barf
LOL yeah, when i was a kid it was great, but now my belly says NOOOOO!
AAAAAA Its not aj talking, that confuses me!
who is this... its not Aj ahhh
Canned whipped cream? Ridiculous.
A bowl of diabetes treat, that’s nice.
Not sweet enough.
