I honestly love to just watch your hair during those rolls.

Incredible video! I love watching the hair - such a great indication of what's going on in the cockpit. I also like that you can read the airspeed indicator from that camera on the elevator. And nice choice of music!

She uses that hair to detect G force direction I'm sure !

Patty, that is awesome. Thanks so much for that. Your hair was a great instrutment for seeing how the G forces were acting on your at various points in that flight. I also enjoyed watching where the smoke was going relative to the fuselage.

I remember seeing you fly at Oshkosh the last year the Christen Eagles flew together as a team. I was just a kid and traveled there in a J3 Cub from Ontario Canada. What a show

I love the course. I'm a simulator pilot and use it all the same. (I do have a flight instructor/school now, but won't be able to start until the end of school year (or Covid-19 if that goes into summer). You cover so much that isn't available online to help simulator pilots work on real-world skills. I can learn in-depth how to fly a jumbo-jet and navigate all of its intricacies, but aerobatics are very much neglected. So thank you and Sporty's for the course. I bought it as soon as I saw it.

I will always be one of your biggest fans. I was lucky to have met you when you performed for us at the Manitowoc Airshow (Thunder on the Lakeshore) It was quite an experience to hold one of the poles when you performed the inverted ribbon cut. I had a great time. 😊

I saw her at EAA air venture on Wednesday and Friday. Awesome pilot.

I saw Patty at Harrison Ar. She did a slow 360 left turn - while rolling the airplane to the right. I did not think that was possible.

Truly the best aerobatic pilots nobody comes close to your skill level in my book, and your gorgeous I've had a crush on you for years. I do have a question. Do the camera mounts effect the airplanes stability? I see that it looks stable but I know your a great pilot

Great video Patty, thanks for sharing it. One question: Is that extended plate below the airfoil about in the area of your port outboard GoPro, is that an exaggerated stall sensor? I used to be a designer at Beech in Wichita and all we had was a little half-inch wide stall sensor flapper (that actuated/enabled the stick shaker). Take care, Tom KC3QAC

My aerobatic flying would make Patty Wagstaff woozy and hit the barf bag.
Svetlana kapanina can ride along though any time :-)

Love the video. It's always great to see via onboard camera an airplane flown by a master pilot.
But (sorry) hate the music. It's too loud and distracting. I'd rather hear the airplane.

I’d like to propose a contest between Patty Wagstaff, (a really great aerobatic Pilot) from America, and Svetlana Kapanina (a really great aerobatic Pilot) from Russia.

Nice, but it would have been even better if you would have thrown in some footage of these maneuvers from the ground

Yea, its fun; cuban 8s in a citabra kinda made me green; but that was many years ago. Now its just my imagination... In a crusader shootin at the bad guys....

if you had to ask me what plane id want to do arobatics in. it be the extra 300. no plane like it has the speed to do those 360s, climbs an stunts. it is just a beautiful plane the way its designed. hope one day i can get in one. i dont even have a pilots licesens. expinsive birds they are. but i bet they are a blast.
