Seeing the exodus of possibly millions of bats from Gomantong Cave in Sabah Borneo is extraordinary.
later, I lay down outside the Park entrance, waiting for my driver to arrive.
Looking up, I saw the unbelievable formations of bats gathered together on the wing.
Its understood that the bats sticking together, twisting and weaving across the sky, helps them evade aerial predators such as birds of prey.
