What amazes me is how everyone seems to know how to access all the systems and are able to pilot the ship 2 seconds after coming aboard.. Is there a sticker pointing to a button that says "To take over the ship push this button" ?
It might be a ship of somewhat standard design, like how Boeing or Airbus aircraft are all pretty similar. Military ships don't have keys and probably very few passcodes to block unauthorized access. Humans are Kardashev .75 or so. Sorry if I'm boring you, just laying the groundwork. Now, our next peer-to-peer conflict will have a space element, so let's assume that any Kardashev 1 world power would have roughly the equivalent of one carrier group in orbit, mostly in small gunboats and frigates, but well able to shoot a dangerous asteroid out of the way if need be. Any Kardashev 2 civilization system power (come to think of it, not even Star Wars has one Kardashev 2 system) would reasonably have double what the US Navy has today, but in space. Probably bigger. Since Earth is getting their warships from somewhere else, we can reasonably assume that civilization has enough firepower to easily turn whatever they sold to other systems into very expensive paperweights. A Kardashev 2 or a little better. A Navy that size has some sort of MilSpec it adheres to, and adheres to pretty closely, since you only want to train your troops once. My guess is that the ship the Earth got was a large frigate. Tiny little thing compared to whatever the parent civilization has hidden up their sleeve, and mass produced to boot. MilSpec, small, (relatively) cheap--exactly the sort of thing nearly everyone big would have one of just for CQC training.

What about the time Jack and Teal'c go to visit Sam at her house and she says she's busy. Teal'c then recommends going to see a ritual where human females wrestle in a vat of jello and Jack says "Let's call Daniel". That is the #1 most funny in my book.

Well, if they made a full body shot after she removed the helmet you would've noticed that she's actually considerably slimmer than the guy that was wearing the suit with the helmet on. Look at the full body shoot before the helmet is taken off. That is 100% a man.
Imagine the suit coming off before the helmet in this scene. That would certainly traumatize Daniel as he starts to image the horrors that are about to happen to him.

come to think of it why didn't the try to take and use or modify the armor from the drone soldiers they defeated overtime. after all the weapon they made to stop them shouldn't have made the armor unusable since it mostly effected the drones body instead.
I know they have to keep it clean for children that could be watching... But a good line would have been, "Hey, you are HOT !, I could do you without the mask."

This is a Fabulous episode! Vala is an irreplaceable character. I actually have come to love her as one of the Original Cast.

Do not underestimate Vala. Invades starcraft, shunts crew to other ship,captures Daniel, learns to control ship all in under say 1 or 2 hours.
