You said not to put them in the same group which seems fair meanwhile politicians of both coutnries have bidded to organise U21 Euro 2027 in Serbia and Albania. It is not the people it is politics. People are nice from both sides.
That's why serbian fans attacked the Albanian squad in 2014? Serbians aren't sorry for anything they are proud of what they did if it wouldn't be the people doing the chaos they wouldn't still dream about about taking over Kosovo and about the U21 Championships they've made with Serbia not one Albanian wanted that to happen it was Albanias corrupt federation president Armando Dukanovic who forced this cooperation to happen because of money
Things you missed regarding this video: 1.Kosovo also weren't allowed to face Bosnia-Herzegovina and Russia for the same reason regarding the Balkan conflicts. Russia had even used Kosovo independence precedent as a justification for recognizing Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk (after the annexation) as "their lands". Most countries, particularly Spain, also didn't recognize Kosovo, but FIFA (or other sporting federations) allowed for Kosovo to participate under the neutral banner. 2.Serbia and Albania were currently named as one of the candidates for co-hosting the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, so judging both countries to be banned for playing each other (or even co-hosting the tournament) is harsh.
Here’s the thing about hosting the U21 Euro in 2027. Since both countries will host it, they both qualify as well, but as hosts, they are already assigned into specific groups. Serbia will play all their games on home soil and so will Albania, with all the teams qualifying, only needing to play in one of the two countries. The only expectation where a team will play in a different country, is if that country reach the final, which could happen, but very unlikely for both Serbia and Albania. In other words, neither teams are VERY likely to not even play a game outside their own country, so them hosting it together, is actually not that big of a problem, despite many have expressed it as despicable.
@@heydavid17 Of course, Serbia and Albania playing all their games on home soil is quite obvious. The same can be done to the United States, Canada, and Mexico for the 2026 World Cup or the United Kingdom + Ireland for the Euro 2028, right?
@@ezraezra2928 Not quite, because with the U21 Euro, should the countries make it out of the group stage, they most likely will remain in their own countries. That is not the case with the upcoming World Cup and the Euro 2028 For example: The last U21 Euro was hosted by Romania and Georgia. The 8 teams that played in Group A and C all played their games in Georgia, while the other 8 teams from Group B and D all played in Romania. This meant that for the knockout stage, the groups that played in the same country were paired against each other. The only time a team had to travel to the other host country, was for the final, which was held in Georgia, and Spain were the only team in the entire tournament, to play in both countries. If Albania and Serbia hosts like this, then no trouble with be caused. Most likely, Serbia will host the final, so unless Albania reach the final, no problems will even take place. I wanna say, in reality, no way either teams will reach the final, but you never know with youth teams, plus Serbia has reached the finals in the past, so it would be more risky to have Albania host the final.

Somehow everybody (including you) seems to forget that in that qualifying group (Euro 2016) there was a return game to be played. It was played in Albania, no incidents happened, Albania would've gotten qualified one round in advance if the won. Guess what, Serbia won the match 2:0, the albanian players were devastated, but still: no incidents, nothing happened, it was only a football match that both teams could fight to win. The scandal in Belgrade happened because there had to be found a reason to interrupt the game: a possible albanian victory in Belgrade was just unthinkable for Serbia and there was no way to allow it to happen. So the title of the video should be: 'Serbia - Albania allowed?!', and not 'Albania - Serbia allowed?!' Otherwise great content! Pozdrav!
@@milantomic7048In Serbia Albanian fans weren’t allowed to watch the game (not a single ones), the Serbian ‘fans’ in Belgrade were very egressive, they were singing hate songs, they had hard materials on them, they were prepared to start a fight actually even without knowing about the drone. The drone came after the situation started to heat. Albanians showed for all the world that we can play football like normal football and be professional, respect the sport. Unfortunately the Serbs behaved as hooligans. That’s the truth! The drone could have been avoided but it wasn’t any reason to start a war. As everyone was allowed to enter in the field and beat the Albanian team. What was the police doing?? The Albanian team was not safe that day at all.
Yes, I agree that it was a tasteless provocation. But before the drone flew upon the field, the whole stadium shouted 'Kill the albanians' (a standard slogan used by the serbian ultras, even in games not involving albanian players). As provoking as the albanian flag was, it didn't call for killings. I think, there is one thing everybody in the Balkans has to agree upon, in order to finally live in peace together: political ideas are legitimate and can be discussed, but killing and murder of each other is BAD, unacceptable und mustn't get supported by anyone and in any context! My hope is, that in my lifetime, I will see a football match between serbs and albanians without violence and hate...

Please can you explain who is Illyrian?! I know that all the Balkan contest us Albanians being Illyrian but now serbs are Illyrian?! Serbia belongs to Siberia my friend
It´s clear as day that the incident was not provoked by Albanian nor Serbian players. Some Albanian from outside the sports world, who profits from a conflict between those two, inserted the drone and he knew exactly what he was doing. Probably someone from the political or military world because a simple football supported doesn´t have the intellectual and political knowledge in order to compose a flag with the portrait of an historical Albanian nationalist and then also design a map of a "Greater Albania" with the exact frontiers ... and write "autochthonous" in perfect English under the map, this is not common knowledge you will find in a random football supporter. It is though knowledge totally normal in people who work for politics and geopolitical affairs and speak perfect English. And obviously, he was and will never be found simply because the drone with the flag was given to that Albanian supporter and he just did what he was told. Probably, if he did it, he was chosen because he knew how to pilot a drone, but he surely was not told who designed the map, but simply got money and they told him what to do. Serbian football federation was given a 3-0 defeat + they took away 3 points, something totally absurd when Serbia Federation was not in control of the events. The correct thing to do was to reschedule the match and play it without supporters, that´s all. Something that has been done many times but UEFA knew that if they would replay without supporters,, Serbia could win the match and they absolutely didn´t want that to happen.

So the title of the video should be: 'Serbia - Albania allowed?!', and not 'Albania - Serbia allowed?!'
Otherwise great content! Pozdrav!
There was no incident because we're not animals like you, maybe learn how to behave then the ref wont have to stop the game next time.
Flying dron with provocation didn't happen in Albania
There were no Albanian ultras in Elbasan stadium.
Play the game in 2024 in Air Albania Stadium were fans are near the field andsee what happens.
Hello Montenegro-Serbian here, i love ya Shqipe brothers and Croatians. We as nations all went through some big nasty shit... But all of that is cojse politics not ppl. Soo please dont follow propaganda or what corupt politicians say, follow ur heart. There are bad ppl everywhere, but focus on good ones and f... the bad ones.
your right bad people everywhere....Im croat...love you Montenegro , Albanian and Kosovar brothers!!
I'm Serbian and I have to say: it is just a sport, why people mix sport with politics? Especially in football?
Henry Ford said: "Sport has the power to transform individuals, teams, communities and even nations, working to break down barriers and build opportunities, that might not otherwise have been possible".
Is it possible to do this?
I've been to some crazy and out of control Serbian vs Croatian games in Canada back in the day
As an Albanian I can confirm that the information is accurate.
I dont think UEFA will ban Albania and Serbia facing each other . Because they’re in a moment when both these countries are about to cohost Euro 2027 for u-21. That’s something the presidents of both federations are doing. However, i wouldnt be surprised if things might change if the same precedent in 2014 gets repeated once again.
My personal opinion as an Albanian is that i wouldnt care about it. I would love to see us beating the Serbian team. But ofc, safety is a concern that you pointed it out

Serbia is been in war with Albania. You need to check history facts. At one point Serbia came all the way to middle of Albania. 1912-1945
That hello caught me off gaurd
I think it should be forbidden for Romania to play in groups, in any sport, with Kosovo. Such contradictory positions can lead to serious incidents that can be easily avoided.😢
They are banned from playing because at the euros they were supposed to get Serbia not Italy in they're group but it wasn't allowed
The problem is that we both may be Illyrian and still hate each other, never mind though our tribes fought each other too.
they are NOT. serbs are slavs from the Caucasus mountains. Croatians, Bosnians, Albanians are illyrians.

How bout Serbia v Switzerland
They should ban that too and Albania v Switzerland
Albania 2.0 vs Serbia
The Spanish can take Gibraltar at any time.

My wife is Albanian.
She says every Albanian have a deep hatred of Serbia
They say Serbia did many atrocities
Yes they did. Their army committed a well document genocide against Albanians, Croatians, Bosnians. So what do we do moving on from here? Keep hating each other? I am an Albanian in my 20s, and I find it very hard to hate a Serbian of my age because of what their country did 3 decades ago. I'd rather build some bridges ;)
Right, they "SAY" Serbs did many atrocities. Now go look at the demographic history of the area from 1900 till now and you will see who was actually ethnically cleansed.
and what is your nationality?

Yep, serbs say that too about albanians.
Which is true. However, serbs hate albanians more than we hate us. I dont hate a serb who doesnt think Kosovo is Serbia

Why would just that single pairing be banned? If they can't remain civilized during the game and show a doze of decorum, then they should be banned from football all together.
Bosnia vs Kosovo being ban is dumb and most Serbs don't even play for Bosnia anyways... Kosovo is going to allow Bosnians to visit their country without a visa next year on January 1st while the Bosnian government will still not allow Kosovars without a visa into Bosnia. Shame!
