@Dave McGraw i think you should stop this he drives a less expensive car trash because then i can make fun of you because you also dont drive an expensive car
I am medical student from India. It’s amazing to look at what you are doing and engaging in extra curricular activities. Surely an inspiration. Love you videos. Btw Peter brought me here . Peace ✌🏻
Peter brought me here. Now I’m binge watching.. in random order. Also, thank you. Such an inspiration to always keep on learning new things, it may be big or something small.
Hahaha thay ending was reminiscent of a parent talking to their child 😂😂😂😂 this channel is serious gold. Great Story, Great Personalities, Great Filming and its all 100% relatable. Thanks for the great story!
As a semi-retired dentist, who used CBCT for implant placement, I can appreciate what you do. I had no idea that your sub-specialty existed. It sounds like a challenging and rewarding field!
Love this! I'm a pharmacist in a health-system clinic and think there's so much to be learned about what pharmacists do (not just retail). You've inspired me to do something like this :)
oh my goodness I have been watching your vlogs because i have a personal interest and desire to fly airplanes/helicopters just as a hobby, but I always thought how am I going to make this work in the future because I am a current medical student and a future physician but finding out your a interventional radiologist makes me realize that its definitely possible! this is a great surprise!
No doubt lots of hard work, years of commitment and dedication required to become a Radiologist! Quite amazing the kind of treatments and procedures you can offer patients and the difference you make in their lives and treating a variety of medical conditions especially cancer. You should be very proud of your accomplishments, we are. By the way it's hard watching this video and being on a Ketogenic diet! Donuts and Ice cream are my favourite and craving them now. Lol
As an emerg resident at UBC who also likes making videos I love your channel!! Chris I have no idea how you had time to do UA-cam while doing a full time IR fellowship - lots of respect. Too bad you guys aren't in Vancouver anymore, would've been so dope to meet you
I had an ablation inside my heart 3 month ago and was fully awake the 3hours of the procedure. There where only some minutes where I could see the xrays during it and I found it quiet interesting. Still scary as it was my own heart but it just blows my mind that there can be surgery on the heart with the patient fully awake and leaving the hospital the next day. So all I want to say is your job is quiet interesting and thanks to you and all those other people in this field of medicine helping people like myself.
That's awesome!! I have had several MRI's Xrays and Cat Scans in my life it's cool to actually meet a Radiologist online that is a UA-camr!! Most of our hospitals around here they electronically read them and put there notes in so I have never met a Radiologist in person.
Love this episode . Thanks for the insight into your gig! I grew up in a family in NDT so used to play with the gear your using now - amazing how technology’s come so far!
Dude I love how logistical Becki is. Freaking LOVED her deep dive into their YT video precess the other day. Gold. Also, 14 years of formal school? Pass. LOL it'll pay off quick though. Looks to me like it already is. Cheers guys
A couple of things: 1. hair dyer transition was the biz, 2. I had no idea what an interventional radiologist did and 3. Has the "why you went to Toronto." Question been answered?
The DIY Mommy thank you! I was interested in diagnostic radiology first, given my background in photo/video, but I was always fascinated with surgery and procedures. IR is a perfect blend of the two! -Chris
Hahaha, hilarious! Donuts in a bathroom, LOVED the, "NOT Becki approved" popup face Hahahaha. Holy smokes, that's so much school a whole new appreciation, I sure wish Chris was around to do my ablation... I'd be up for a DIY colab! ;) hahaha As per awesome - loved the instructions at the end!
Vin'yet Etc. Thanks lover!! He's a life long learner that's for sure. Always up to something. I watched him to do an ablation once and he was so good! Great with the patient. ❤️❤️
Hi Chris! Med student here, graduating in 2 years. Would you say radiology is the speciality that offers the most options to working from home/ telemedicine? Appreciate the time, thank you 💪🏽
I'm more interested in what Becki does for work. I don't think I've ever heard her mention clients, do a client video or walk through, doesn't shoot weddings (which is top paying dough), so I'm always interested in how creatives earn, if they do.
Did you learn to fly during your residency? Had you ever dreamt of being a pilot? I am a medical doctor too and am an Avgeek and love anything related to aviation.
I'm sure you saw my earlier comment?........ I take it all back! You now need a dual career ok. 50% medicinal (because you do a great job) & 50% helicopter adventurer. Unfortunately...........both worlds need you now Chris oh....and we all love Becki too!
Chris I know exactly what you do.And completely understand.I can get why Becky would be upset about that donut it was huge I was getting a stomach ache watching you eat it. Anyone who knows knows I eat very small portions not intentional it would have lasted four days for me hahaha. And wow Awesome Video very much enjoyed Deb.👍✌
It would be embarassing enough to talk to yourself on camera in the busy airport. But doing the floss, on a moving treadmill, with your camera on a tripod across the hall....is just taking it to another level. I don't know how you do it haha. I originally came over from Peter's channel (i'm sure you've gotten that a bit) but I must say, I love your channel. It's a sensible channel with great content. You've certainly sparked my curiosity in helicopters a bit more. My father is a pilot and I never got the bug when I was younger but I could say I've got it now. Unfortunately I live in a foreign country where being a private pilot is stupidly expensive. I still manage to get to EAA every now and then. Have you guys ever been there?
Chris how long have you been a doctor and what College did you get your Bachelors Degree at ? What medical scholl did you go to ? Is Becki a doctor also ?
Summary, if you want to have a lot of extra money to fly and own helicopters stay in school. There will be exceptions however the correlation between education and income is indisputable.
i must say, in a world of saturated highschool dropout youtubers. You guys are the real influnecers and mentors i look up to.
@Dave McGraw you think if he dont drive a expensive car people cannot look up to him
You are a joke man😂
@Dave McGraw and what do you drive a senna?
@Dave McGraw i think you should stop this he drives a less expensive car trash because then i can make fun of you because you also dont drive an expensive car
@Dave McGraw Does it even matter what he drives? A car doesn't define a person.
@@PulasthiKeragala I'd bet Dave would be happy to ride in a wagon if he was broke down somewhere.
I am medical student from India. It’s amazing to look at what you are doing and engaging in extra curricular activities. Surely an inspiration. Love you videos. Btw Peter brought me here . Peace ✌🏻
You two are creative, smart, industrious and driven. This is sort of people we should support more on UA-cam
The way you and Beckie put together a piece of art is amazing.
Peter brought me here. Now I’m binge watching.. in random order.
Also, thank you. Such an inspiration to always keep on learning new things, it may be big or something small.
Thanks for letting us “in” and explaining what you do! I’m also glad you are still able to dabble in videos! Well done!
There is always a lovely vibe in your videos :)
john wheatley thanks so much!

Great to know more about you and all the activities you do. Impressive.
Wow, very cool what an Interventional Radiologist does. Truly amazing.
William thanks! Not many people know this job exists 😊

June Peckham I couldn't get through the edit without getting a donut from Tims 😂😂
As an emerg resident at UBC who also likes making videos I love your channel!! Chris I have no idea how you had time to do UA-cam while doing a full time IR fellowship - lots of respect. Too bad you guys aren't in Vancouver anymore, would've been so dope to meet you
You are both highly motivated people who continue to work hard in everything that you do,thank you for the insight into your work.

This is an interesting case, quite scary. Did anesthesia not work?
That's awesome!! I have had several MRI's Xrays and Cat Scans in my life it's cool to actually meet a Radiologist online that is a UA-camr!! Most of our hospitals around here they electronically read them and put there notes in so I have never met a Radiologist in person.
Love your videos - I've been binge watching them sporadically throughout the week!
You will be inspiring a lot of people with your videos. Another great video.
Loved this one! And the 48 hour donut! 🍩

Simon Blunden thanks much! Should be able to answer the Toronto question soon! :)
Your job is incredible, Chris. How did you decide to specialize in the field? And that big donut looked so yum!!
The DIY Mommy thank you! I was interested in diagnostic radiology first, given my background in photo/video, but I was always fascinated with surgery and procedures. IR is a perfect blend of the two!
