Jimbo your amazing that roof looks good brother the fire wood is ready for winter time I’m happy your back happy to see your doing well be safe up on that roof god bless jimbo
Your an awesome ol boy Jim.... your really good at alot of things, you jus need a good wooman.... best of luck finding that, but i wish you the best of the best ol boy.
Missed you Jim. I wish that you lived near me. I would gladly bring my tractor over and help you take out those trees and dig out the stumps and roots for free. Unfortunately, I live in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. and can't do it but if there is anyone out there that can lend a hand please do so. After all, we're all in this together and we need to help each other when we can. God bless Jimbo and have a wonderful day. P.S. Please be careful up on that roof. 👍👍🙂
Jim, please use a harness and good rope tied to a secure anchor. Just for insurance. I have burnt a trainload of firewood and I always wanted to build a "wood wheel" to stack it into, strap it tightly then ROLL it from the pile into the house. I got nothing but poo poo'd by the wood guy & others. "Too Heavy," "Silly," "Are You Afraid of Work?" Anyway, I never built it, but I would've made it just as big as I could handle easily by myself . Thanks for the update. PS I used to "weave" the asphalt shingles in the valleys. ben/ michigan
That is a great idea to put the fire wood inside the car it will keep it dry and in the winter they are not going to get wet and freeze together and they won't get covered in snow 👍. If you do the other side of the roof been it's going to be cooler outside it will make it easier so it might just get it done and over with so you can get on to something you like better more like car's
It is not a good idea to have trees growing with in 15 to 20 feet of your house unless decorative ornamental trees or bushes.. definitely not on top of your septic system
Greetings from Holland. Jim is a allround man. Thank you for the sharing on UA-cam!
You've been very busy Jim, glad your roof is getting done

Awesome Jim take care and be safe.
Looking good Jim,thanks for sharing
At your age, Jim, you should not be going up on roofs. I did at 75 and fell off, ended up paraplegic, now in nursing home. Not an ending for you lad.😮
Looking good Jim.
Good call on trees. I’ve heard maples and willows can creep through cracks of a septic cover, bloom out, and fill a whole tank.
Great job Jim,🤠🇬🇧

Jim, you might check on renting a mini excavator for the trees and brush. Take them out with the roots so they do not come back. Also, fix your drain.
You always have stuff to do Jim, it keeps you on your toes.
Happy Days Jim!!! 😊 etc.etc!!!
You sure are a hard worker Jim.
Be well,
London UK
You’re in pretty good shape with your firewood and good luck with your roof
Looks great!
Find a back up boat pump. Not expensive. . Good luck. Preping for winter. 👍👍
Be safe Jim keep the rubber side down.

Man Jim, you definitely have your work cut out for you !
Great idea for a woodbox !
Dig a hole and drop in a plastic sump insert, put pump down inside, eliminate water before it's a problem.

Old houses takes lots of work...
So do not old houses. Things go wrong, fail, quit and weren't done right in the beginning.
How many shingles do u need to finish the whole roof jimbo

You’re a Jack of all trades Jim! Did the house originally belong to your grandparents?
How old is your house?
Keep going and one day you will be out of work
do you worry about termites in the basement??
No termites in Nova Scotia
