Miley Cyrus Officialy Wins Her First Grammy Awards for 'Flowers'
Miley Cyrus is officially a Grammy winner. She won her first-ever Grammy Awards on Sunday February 4th, 2024. Cyrus won best pop solo performance for 'flowers,' beating out 'Paint The Town Raid' by Doja Cat, 'What Was I Made For?' by Billie Eilish, Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo, and Anti-Hero by Taylor Swift.
Miley Cyrus was visibly shocked when her name was called by Mariah Carey who presented the award to her.
After a performance of “Flowers” in the middle of the ceremony, Cyrus returned to the stage to accept one of the final awards of the night: best record of the year.
It is known that Miley Cyrus also earned nominations in 4 additional categories for this year's Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year (Endless Summer Vacation), Song of the year (Flowers), Best Pop Vocal Album (Endless Summer Vacation), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (Thousand Miles - Miley Cyrus featuring Brandi Carlile).
It is known that “Flowers” topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks after its debut and broke Spotify’s record for most streams in a single week with more than 100 million listens. Months after its release, it became the fastest song to reach a billion spins.
