They keep claiming it's going to happen, just a while down the road. I'm curious to see if the SH Monsterarts version will be in scale with the NECA stuff.
I bought both these guys for 20 $ each years ago, looked them up they're ridiculous now from what I've seen crazy , still got unmasked in the packaging
At the toys r us where I live they still sell masked wolf, and they are still fully stocked with the Christmas exclusive Dutch and Jungle Hunter two pack, and have unmasked berserker, and have nightstorm and have tons of aliens....tons.
I would totally go for the City Hunter. He's the most iconic of the set you mentioned. Plus, they should be redoing the Wolf in the next year or so, so I would wait for that one.
Cool. I have both of these. The original masked release is my favorite. I noticed that the re-release has a brighter painted mask. Wolf is my favorite pred character in the movies. It's true how he can't hold his disk good. lol You got all the good points. Even about the old neca style. I was thinking the same about some new AVP figures too.

I guess NECA re-released them. Because of this and the fact that the movie wasn't that popular (or good) I'm guessing they won't be redoing him anytime soon. Hell, I want them to redo their Part 7 Jason Voorhees waaaay before they get back to this guy. I honesly think I like the unmasked a bit more.
Yeah, NECA went nuts with the variants on these guys. I kind of wanted the SDCC version just because of the facehugger and chestburster, but hopefully we'll get some with the new Aliens line.
Unfortunately both of the shurikens came off and disappeared somewhere. Still can't find them - shame neca doesn't sell individual replacement accessories.
hey OutsideTheBoxReviews I would just like to ask are NECA defiantly re-making the AVP Aliens and Predators figures and the Requiem ones too because I am currently debating whether to get the current ones or not. Great review by the way too!
Thank you! I would definitely go with the classic. Better articulation, very nice sculpt, from a better movie, just overall a better figure. There should be an anniversary release of the classic predator coming within the next few months I believe, it will be the same basic figure with the newer style leg articulation, which should be a winning combo!
Sadly, eEbay may be your only hope. I would keep an eye on Amazon to see if the price drops. The only other thing I can really suggest is to check out any local comic shops near you (or if you travel at all) and see what you can dig up. Sometimes you can find long forgotten gems at good prices if you are lucky.
Ggggrrrrr! my combistick broke yesterday! I woke up about 2:30 in the morning after hearing a thud and after turning the light on, saw my masked wolf on the floor and his combistick snapped. ebay hunting now....
Hey I know this was a long time ago but did you ever manage to find a replacement for your wolf predator? I'm trying to find the whip accessory that came with that particular figure so I can give it to my stalker predator. I was wondering if you had a spare? A response would be greatly appreciated.
Though I wish NECA would do an AVP line, I don't think they own the rights..McFarlane still owns them as far as I know..But I could easily be wrong.........

I wish the masked predator had the whip and bladed shuriken and 2nd plasma cannon. BY the way, the story line of avpr sucked, but the action scenes were superb.
Unmasked is the worst. That face piece looks like its ready to pop off. Not sure neca was all into this fig. And the limited movement was horrible. I love all my predators except unmasked wolf

I wish NECA would do an updated version of the Wolf Predator. As bad as the film was, I really liked this design of Predator.

i dig these for what they are, best as a nice display piece, nothing too dynamic but the details are very nice

They never re-released these. There are 7 different versions of wolf. The slightly closed mouth is not the same as this one.
For me although the movie was bad I think the design of the predator in the movie was cool

Why are necas predators tilted to the side?
