Thank you! It’s a metal refillable watercolor box from Artemiranda. I cut the flap off it so it would be just the paint wells and the lid. They’re only about 20 euro/25$ and if you want the flap off you can just skip the little metal rod out. It’s not a perfect box but I love it. Good mid-size. Not too big but not too small.

Hi Jared, great video. I like how you use the flat brush for the majority of the painting. Is that what you recommend in your workshop?
Yes. I use a 1” or 3/4” flat to avoid getting overly focused on detail too early

Are the initial washes with gouache or regular watercolor?
All gouache for this one. The initial wash is about 80% water- then I go to 0-5% water so that it layers well and the colors are clean.
