Not all PRESIDENTS are eloquent. Some have the gift, as Obama & Biden, They could also sell Americans on things that aren't any good for anyone, but their cronies & themselves. ie Some talk GREAT , Few Do GREAT"

Well, to be frank, his words about "paying any price" created the conditions for Vietnam. It was a Cold War speech that had some ultimately unfortunate consequences.

I heard one part of the Debate of John F. Kennedy and Richard M. Nixon. I always heard that JFK beat Nixon severely. Well I cannot see it. Richard M. Nixon was well equipt and he had huge substance. I didn't see the torcher of Nixon. I felt he not only answered all questions with the intelligence of a man in Mr. Nixon's station. So from now on their are two subjects that cannot be argued to the weak sense that Mr. Nixon was served up on a butcher block. And the fact that I Debbie J. Pettit swear that I do not particularly like Donald J. TRUMP, I think he was doing a very good job. Too many facts that were colored badly by the Liberal Party
Yes do not call these Vipers Democrats. Blocked, schemed, out an out lied about practically anything Trump did was stupid, albeit pure crap. Getting sick and tired of reporters just saying anything. And not researching you're sources. I have come to the Conclusion that Fake News has been around a long time. And I am ashamed of this current administration. Both Nixon and Kennedy were the gold standard of intelligence, and painstakingly ever inch the statesmen. I can't even fathom why anyone could have seen Biden and his clown college ethic's be anywhere near JFK or V.P. Nixon. 12 years before Watergate.

Dear CBS News, Can you please upload this again and include the dramatic playing of Hail To The Chief immediately followed by the Oath administered by Chief Justice Earl Warren to President Elect John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
It is, in my opinion, one of most majestic moments in United States history!
It was included in the excellent John F. Kennedy Documentary ~
    "Being With John F. Kennedy".
Quotes by President John Fitzgerald Kennedy ~ "If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich."
"Let us go forth to lead the land we love.
Asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth, God's work must truly be our own."

Dear CBS News, it has been almost one year ago that I asked respectfully if you could include the Presidential oath being administered to President Elect John Fitzgerald Kennedy by Chief Justice Earl Warren and it hasn't been done.
You surely must have the footage.
It was included on a 1983 Television Special ~ "Being With John F. Kennedy" hosted by Nancy Dickerson.
This documentary was on UA-cam for a few months s few years ago but was removed!
I believe CBS News provided the best coverage of President Kennedy's Inaugural.

I was 7 when JFK was assassinated. I have read a lot about him and have respect for much of what he did and I think he was growing in office. However, and I know this will offend the JFK cult, he was hardly a divine presence and this speech, while eloquent and appropriate for the time, had some unfortunate consequences later in Vietnam. JFK had little interest in domestic issues and had to be pushed into supporting civil rights. And the fact is, he and Nixon disagreed really on very little. Having said that, his assassination was obviously a great tragedy and we will never know what he might have done. But I think you have to keep his legacy in perspective.
