There is no proper infrastructure for EVs not only in india but other countries as well Becoz they didn't understand what type of technology is actually required in different different scenarios apart from ICE Engines. 1) For Big Vehicles use Hydrogen fuel cell or technology that is in the toyota Camry use in trucks, train's, crane's that massively cut down carbon emissions in Himalayas. 2) For buses , Small scooters, Small trucks use battery for internal city riding only. 3) For personal vehicle use combinations of technology such as EV, Hydrogen fuel cell, hydrogen Engines. From 10 years of experience in electric vehicles . 1- As we move to heavy segment.....their is no replacement of diesel. . 2- Even someone afford the electric vehicle.....in heavy segment......it will charge only on fast charger......you cannot charge 100kw battery at home.. practical yes but it will take 2 days😂. . 3- And atlast if someone is using fast charger it's rates per kw unit is ultra high..... insane At home you pay (1-6) rupees per unit....but fast charger gives (10- 20-25-even 30) ruppes. Per unit......means equal to diesel 😂. . 4- Electric vehicle are very much affected by load, gradibility, wind speeds, temperature 🌡️, and all that leads to bad experiences.... It's not like you have less diesel left in tank & calls 📞 some one fills up quickly runs again... What will a person will do if electric loaded truck have no charge left....😂even on heavy generator which is not easily available will take a whole fucking day to charge 50% 😢. . 5- light vehicles have different story where you charge it at home over night....uses it next day... Usually it takes 3- 6 hour to charge....even day time you can charge it. Maintenance is less ...& Just 20% move expensive than oil one.....
