Good video! A few other common mistakes: 7) not using the non dominant hand for pointing and balance. Some beginners seem to use only their dominant hand. We call it "the walrus arm" 8) running backwards when being lobbed. You should move with side steps, with your chest sort of pointing to the side wall. 9) preparing late for high shots, specially bandejas. You should try to prepare both arms up as soon as you start moving backwards. Cheers!
Great tips! I gotta say holding the racket up might seem like the most easy and self explanatory thing in the world but it's much harder than any might think. And for a beginner and even intermediate I would say it's the best and easiest way to improve your game. My coaches tells me all the time "racket up!" when I miss shots especially at the net. Anyway this will improve all your shots I think. Thinking about this tip especially since many players, and I, look at their rackets when they got a bad shot kinda like tennis players do when in reality they only had their racket too low. 😉😄
Very good tips, thank you! I’ve been told to always ALWAYS keep my eye on the ball and maybe that’s why I keep returning the ball right into the opponents racket instead of winning points by placing the ball better 🤯
You want to try and do both, keep the eye on the ball to get good timing, but little glances and looks at spaces in the court will be beter for putting the shots where you want to
Good video, thanks for the tips :-) I just broke my racket yesterday so im looking for a new. Im between Nox ML10 pro cup rough surface/Luxuray or Bullpadel Vertex 03 control. Just not sure if the Bullpadel is to hard for me still? I have been playing for a year and currently playing 2x a week with coaching Weekly. Im sure the Nox are good they just look cheap in my opinion 🤣
the nox are really good to be fair, the prices are good but they are very durable as well. So the vertex 03 is a class racket but very firm, pro cup rough offers less power but has a softer feel. I think bcos you have been playing for a year and coaching, the vertex will be fine for you! it will offer that extra power
Good video. However, I completely disagree with the first point. If you watch pro padel players when defending they stand right in front of the baseline and this helps them better defend smashes, bandejas and chiquitas because they are closer to net and not cornered by the back glass.
Thanks for watching guys let me know any videos you wanna see - Ewan :)

Playing with the ball in the left hand (whether you´re right-handed), and it is + nitwit when your short/pants got pockets...
Can you buy the extra long wrist strap your wearing please??
Good video, thanks for the tips :-)

Thanks ! They don't - they start behind the baseline, and then move to those positions when that shot is played
Really helpful - thanks!
Thanks Theo appreciate it
