That's not laying down the gauntlet, that's my commute to work! 😅
Nice little road section yano 😭 ive never said that in my life! had to move back to manchester city recently and i want to die being away from the hills 😂
Nice! He can ride a bicycle at a good rate of speed. This is absolutely unheard of.
With intense music too…
I like XC bikes to build as a road rocket, shove in wide semislicks, a larger dish and good to go!
Nice bike man👍🏽
What size chainring is he running?
Looks like maybe a 36T
They range from 32t, but usually are 34t, or perhaps a 36t, or the rare 40t.
He isn’t running.
@@kiuk_kiksi was going to get a 40 for my Lapierre Froggy 318 but nothing above a 38 would fit, and i had to use a small spacer on the crank's bearing to make it fit, wich felt sketchy at first tbh. I used to get up to 50 km/h on the flat with the 38 but on downhill it still didn't seem like enough sometimes, it's not crazy but for an untrained bastard like me i think it's quite well. Now i struggle past 40 with my Demo 8 XD
You can ride an XC bike this smoothly on roads ??
their geometry works great for the road, they're kind of the mid point between road bikes and mountain bikes while keeping full suspension. I would like to have one to put a set of Maxxis Hookworm tyres on and turn it onto a road rocket.
💪💪💪
Жаль что canyon перестали продавать в России. Очень достойные велосипеды
What style helmet is that? Ik it’s smith but which one
160km to go and a single 500ml water bottle. Mmm okay.
The music made this intense.
Con esa bicicleta cualquiera mi sueño es tener esa bicicleta Canyon tengo a la justas una Atom Taiwán.
Wow
Damn XC is soooo gnarly !
why pro people looks so pro.
E-bikers seeing this and being like 🤯😥😵
Cross country mountain bikers are just roadies on mountain bikes let’s be real
I’ll agree with you if you agree that 95% of people riding 160mm+ of rear travel and think themselves as gravity riders are really just poseurs who hit the brakes too much.
@@mtb416 I agree with u on that one, most of them call themselves gravity riders, but don’t have the balls to go all out
What are you guys talking about, gravelduro is the new thing
@@LastAphelion 😂😂😂
Agreed but xc pros have crazy skills mate..
Check out some XCO circuits that most amateur to medium enduro riders would have to think twice before clearing some of the obstacles..
Why am I seeing this?
Why not?
You need at least 2 chainrings at the front...
No
Bad
Say no to Lycra
Say no to gatekeeping
@@JorgenKremer the reason mtb dont like lycra is many of them are so out of shape, it shows how fat they are.
@@JorgenKremerlycra is worse than gatekeeping xd
tarmac and gravel and he needs a mtb lo smh
It looks like road biking. Why do you show it? It's boring. Do a bunny hop. If u can
Bruh what xc racer rides a fully... On asphalt and gravel!!! I ride xc and I have tried a fully multiple times-you just won't use the rear suspension for anything. It's adding weight and you need to go through the worry of locking it and unlocking it and it's just not worth it... Sometimes for xc I would like to use a full rigid bike cuz you don't have a heavy fork to worry about 😂
Neither does he have to worry about potholes because he has skinny tyres... also, "heavy fork" they're not that bad, neither is the rear shock, especially when it comes down to such a high end XC bike. Plus, the whole point of the video was using an XC bike on the road. Don't you worry tho, i'm sure everyone is jealous of your rigid bike
Xc is so cringe. Just buy a freaking roadbike
Wrong channel Lycra boy.
