The dude that went out of bounds was disqualified. Back when I competed if anyone went out of bounds, the driver was taken behind the arena and executed.

That's Deere's new self draining crankcase. Once the service hours are up, the rods detonate to put a hole in the pan.
When this stuff happens why does every body and their brother start running and scrambling around like flies trying to look important. Then they stand there just looking at stuff. There isn't a thing they can do for the driver or the truck/tractor. There should only be a trained safety and track crew in the area. Everybody else should not be allowed to stay out on the track. I heard a story about a regular joe who was helping a pulling crew. Just a guy who liked motorsports and a friend with a pulling truck. His friend's truck malfunctioned and he went running out there like the world was on fire. The truck was still running and unexpectedly the engine detonated. This guy had no fire suit or protective gear of any kind. The ignited alcohol set him on fire and burned him pretty bad. I think they should disqualify any team who has someone on the track. And for God's sake keep a fire extinguisher close and quit trying to blow out fires. Sheesh.
