Thank you for the video, being a boxing fan, I enjoyed the format 🙂 Given, the HUGE price difference, I think Seiko has done a terrific job against one of the best watches in the industry....
Thank you very much, I'm really glad you appreciate it 😊. Agreed, the Lumibrite is excellent, and I've heard their new compound is even more impressive...
If you ever have the opportunity, could you do the same test Rolex vs San Martin? I would be interested 😏 also surprised that the monster didn't have the staying power. But when you walking in to a dark room after being outside the monster looks amazing on wrist. Love me monster haha
Fun video! On my iPhone screen, the monster had clearer hands in round 3 than the Rolex even though the Rolex indices were brighter. Also Seiko was brighter in round 2. For me, longevity of lume is most important so probably a draw is a fair result.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it 😊. Yes I felt a draw was the best decision, but then I believe that's personal and it depends on what's the most important for you
Knowing that Seiko lume is painted over the indices rather than lume filled as the Rolex indices are, I think Seiko is doing an excellent job here. And bonus, no need to blow an AD to get that one.
I think the last round - long term visibility- should carry more weight. Your going to be waking up in the middle of the night after a good few hours have passed.
When you realized the last test is blurry, did you repeat it to correct the video? No, you didn't. You just posted it like it was. And for that laziness, I award you the coveted thumb DOWN.
A very fun video and I’d say that all things equal and basing on merits while you declared a draw imho Rolex due to three hour legibility should be declared a winner as the third round should his a tad more weight.
Thanks for the comparison Gru!

Citizen BN0150 is cheaper than the Monster and beats a Submariner in both brightness and longevity.
Interesting that in round 1 and 2 there is no lume pip on Rolex and in round 3 it magically appeared.
Yep, Rolex is a magic brand
@@Horologique It would be better to explain it than to make a fun of your own video. cheers
I think Rolex failed so he had to bait and switch. Also this dude sounds like a Turk so no surprise
Refreshingly entertaining mate. Bravo.
Many many thanks my friend 😁😁
Excellent video!.. Go Sieko!
Nice video. Thank you for this comparison.
You are welcome, thank you for your nice comment 👍
That was an entertaining video. Rolex is gorgeous even when the lights are off. BTW Michael Buffer segment was great.
Thank you Chris 😁😁
I love that batman ceramic bezel with a jubilee bracelet. It just works!
So do I my friend 👍

😂😂
Rolex non usa Super Luminova?
No, usa un componente hecho por ellos mismos que se llama Chromalight

You have a point there. But I don't have to tell you the satisfaction that6I have when I see that lumibrighted Monster blasting away 👾😁
@@Horologique yeah your right there 🤗

Yes, I can agree with that but then it's totally subjective for me. That initial busrt is so enjoyable in the Monster :)
Funny! Round 3 was the most important round imo ...
Yes I understand what you are saying but just watching that lume blasting away after charging it puts a smile on my face 😁
@@Horologique Sure, I understand that, too... Cheers!
Round 3 was a 10-7 rolex
I would say Rolex won 2 and 3
The blue-ish color of Rolex lume is easier on the eyes, too.
My Lumibrite lasts bright all night. Maybe mine has more or something.
Yes it might be a newer blend
Batman!!!
C'mon the BGW9 (Chromalight😁) is way better.. lasting is everything!! 🙂👍👍👍
The chromalight glow is more even. Up close the seikos is blotchy.
I really didn't notice that in real life
