My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, she passed away 1985, my middle sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and she God bless is a survivor, my oldest sister was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2011 and she passed away 2018. It’s been horrible!!!! 💚
Oh wow 😕 So sorry for the loss of your mom and sister. It sounds like your family has similar genetics to ours. We hope you stay well. We are glad you found us too ❤️

Welcome to floss tube ladies! Yes I loved your first clip! We like the same designers and I love the fun you share in your family ◡̈ . My mother died from ovarian cancer and I had a lumpectomy a couple years ago. I can appreciate what you all have gone thru and posting it on this format may help another stitcher out there to get those mammograms and Pap smears ! I was raised in Oregon and our entire family just got back from a wonderful vacation on the Oregon coast. I had been conversing to Anna from Stitch Roadie and we were able to meet at Acorns and Threads while we were there. I love her too and look forward to her floss tubes ◡̈. I’ll be watching your next two floss-tubes in the coming days. Happy to have you on my list❤

I love that you girls and your mom enjoy stitching together. My mom was a breast cancer survivor for 30 years before she died in 2016 at 93 years of age. She taught me to cross stitch in the 1980's. I continued to stitch into the 1990's then switched to quilting. I am back to cross stitching again. I love floss tube. I enjoyed your first floss tube and will tune in again.
Oh thank you so much! That is so awesome your mother lived a long life after breast cancer ❤️ It is really nice to share hobbies with each other. We are also learning to quilt and will probably share a little of that journey as well 🙂

Wow, I just found you and love your flosstube! I cross stitch but my real passion is embroidery. I knew you were from the MidWest, so cool that you're in Wisconsin, I was raised in Illinois. My sisters and I are going through the BrCa gene testing right now. My stitching helps me with so many of my thoughts and emotions, it's my therapy. Thank you for recording and I'm looking forward to more episodes. You all are wonderful and inspiring!

Oh my, your whole family has been touched by breast cancer! I was diagnosed the first week of March 2017! I have never been so sick in my life! I had thick curly hair. I prayed for God to give me straight red hair … He came through with the straight hair, but it is no longer thick! I still have lingering this and that, and I really dont miss my eye brows at all! I enjoyed your first flosstube! And if you were nervous, it didn’t show at all!

Chris, you will love the evenweave fabric. Colour and Cotton has a lot of beautiful hand dyed evenweave fabrics. It’s almost all I stitch on these days.

Hello, Pink Sisters! I am coming up on my five year breast cancer diagnosis anniversary. I am excited to be a survivor and fellow warrior. Stitching kept me going. My daughter passed away in 2016. My diagnosis is 2018. Thank God for people who lift us up, family to support us and stitching to keep us content ❤. I enjoyed your first Flosstube. Love the shirts!
