I love to better understand how agriculture and homesteading was done years ago. Quilts are cool and interesting on hand vs machine. Funny tabbaco to condos. Interesting the train ran on diesel rather than coal or wood. Big facility. Lots of good work here. Thanks Dannovator. 👍
What a great video. So much history and info. Awesome train ride. The curators were fun to listen to. You must have got there early to have the run of the place. I can not believe how well it is restored and how much interaction you can have. Thanks for the vid Danny! -Ron
Last time I went there I was impressed on how many farming machines were in exhibition. I also remember a lady making dolls, the coolest thing was that she was in a cabin and she had the chimney on, it was winter. I loved the ambiance of the place. I forgot to ride the train, I need to go back, I live an hour or so from this museum. Thanks for bringing back the memories of this wonderful museum!
Hello from Naples, Florida. An awesome tour!! We enjoyed the visit to the historical village. Thanks for sharing the amazing views with us, have a great weekend 👍 💯 ❤
Life was tough back then and the men and women who lived at that time snd earlier in history had to be tough and hard working. You did it again Mr. D. You shared another adventure in a place here in Georgia that I knew nothing about. Thank you for the lesson. God bless!
This looks like such an interesting place. I'd love looking in those old buildings and at all the exhibits. So neat that you can take a train ride too!
It's definitely a very interesting place with historical charm, an ideal village to explore. A mind-blowing presentation indeed !! Greetings from India.
That was really an excellent tour. The first Guide seemed very knowledgeable and provided lots of great history. Great historical village and farm. I wouldn’t mind living in simpler times like that. That sawmill didn’t look small to me. I have one of those antique phones. Unfortunately, mine is just a replica. Cool train ride. You showed off this place well. 👍20

The train engineers told me the train once was coal fired, but converted. Thank you for watching!
