Danny great job with Thomasville you covered so much information. From the history in the area to telling us about those who influenced the area it was amazing. This town is so neat love all the buildings and how well several places have been maintained. I cant believe Jackie O visited . Each place you stopped in was so unique and really interesting. Your filming and editing is always so enjoyable and the way you tell history and stories while keeping the flow and making it interesting. Well done Danny you seriously should be a Georgia tour guide!! We are gonna have to meet up whenever we make it to Georgia unfortunately it will be a few years! 😊

Another phenomenal tour of this historic town off highway 75. I am surprised the town had the attention of JFK's widow and former president Eisenhower. The architectural and historical legacy is one of a kind, I only remember the city because of the Big Oak.

This was great. Thomasville looks like somewhere I'd like to visit. You really nailed this one with all the creative camera angles and shots- made it super interesting to watch.

Man, how do you find all these unique places with all their different cultures, styles and names. You must be a Georgia history buff! I constantly learn new and interesting stuff about place in Georgia that I never knew until you came along and introduced me to these different sites. As always, thanks for yet another awesome video. You can tell that the city of Thomasville takes great pride in the park and lake. No trash around and the grounds are well maintained. Beautiful. Will have to check it out in the fall if I can get my family to take the trip with me. Too hot now. Thanks for yet another idea for a day trip. Always fun to watch.

Nice that you can enjoy the roses and then walk around the lake. I think it's cute when the geese or ducks all swim in an organized line. Looks like a great spot for bird watching. I think that you are right and that structure is probably for bats.

My great grandfather, Leland Dixon Baker played baseball with Ty Cobb in the Royston Reds before he started playing professionally. In 1902 Ty Cobb gave my great grandfather a car for a wedding present. Ty Cobb was very good friends with my great grandparents. He would visit them frequently. His mosoleum is right next to our family’s cemetery plot.

What happened to the spring? I went there to a family reunion back in the early 70’s as a child. I remember walking across the skating rink and that cold cold water. I hate seeing it gone to ruins.
