I walked down the aisle to this a week ago. I did a last min switch in songs because this song had been on repeat already, and my word for this season has been “abide”. I always end up crying and raising my hands to worship to Jesus. What better way to walk into my new season than in pure worship! Thank you for this song! I stumbled across this song in 2021 when my mother was in the hospital slowly dying from covid. I listened to this song every single day all day on repeat. She ended passing a month later but this song gave comfort to my soul. I came to listen to it today to see if I could get through the song without crying but it just sparks up memories from the hardest thing I every had to experience in my young life. I thank God for giving me comfort and assurance during that time of my life. I love you Lord.

The word given to me in this season, has been “abide in the love of Christ, and the love of Christ will abide in you.”
John 15 is one of my favorite moments with the Lord. So when I hear this I go back to the words of Jesus and my spirit leaps. For he said:
Jesus loves the church so much! We are in him and he is in us. He is interested in us producing the best of ourselves at all times. From verse 8, God is glorified when we bear fruit, i.e. when we are successful and live lives that are full of purpose! Who said that Christians are supposed to be humble meek and cower, careful not to step on anyone's toes as a sign of "humility"? God wants you to be great, beloved brothers and sisters! It promotes our maker when we shine! It puts more respek on His name! We are built to do just that, for we are not here by mistake! God created ever single one of us for a purpose and with a plan in mind. Go one and be a blessing in people's lives, being the fruitful vine that you are!
Remember that you can do nothing without Him. The roots are in him, and our daily nutrition comes from him. We are unable to bear fruit in and of ourselves; every good thing that comes from us is originates from him. without him we dry up, with no life in us, and go nowhere. what use would anyone have for a single, fruitless branch?
Jesus is the beginning and the end. The true vine; full of life- enough for all of his branches to be productive, feeding all of God's creation and producing lush, beautiful leaves for cool shade on a hot day and shelter on a rainy one. Dear branch in the Lord, abide in Him and he will use you mightily! You will be great. You will do great things!
Lord, how I love you! You know that I could go on forever about John 15. Bless your branches, and keep the revelation burning in them as to how great you want all of us to be; how much it pleases you to see us be a blessing to the world. I know that this is your will, and it will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Father. In Jesus' mighty name!

Koketso Mokone Amen...I totally agree, However I do believe the word does call us to be meek and Humble, However being humble does not mean we are less or we are cowering, but it’s only living out God’s word: Let us then imitate Christ’s humility(Phillipians 2:1-11) and also blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth( Matthew 5:5) being meek, humble is 100% Christ’s Character♥️

I had not listened to this song much before. But I recently lost my mom and a while after that came across this song by chance. I cried so much that day because my mothers nickname (given to her by her father) was Mvini. Even as an adult when we joked around we still called her Mvini. I listen to this song every single day now because it makes me feel closer to her somehow.

I remember playing this song on repeat at the end of 2014, one of the days, i was at work, in the ward with women who had just delivered babies right, but these women's babies were the NICU and as went from bed to bed seeing the patients, one patient commented on how much the song was bringing her comfort and peace in that moment.

Saw them perform this song on Good Friday earlier this year at Let Us Worship 2023. It was my first time hearing the song, and I hadn't known about them before then, but I was familiar with two of their songs. Anyway, I had this song on repeat in my car for the two following weeks after the event, and during that time, I would just worship wholeheartedly to this song. I always wondered why. Less than a month later, I lost my Grandmother after her long illness, and I believe God used this song to help me not only get through that but also prepare me for the weeks leading up to her death. Nonetheless, the Lord has healed my heart since then, and I just want to thank We Will Worship for allowing God to use them so powerfully! God bless you all and any person that has experienced or is experiencing any loss. May the Lord restore your heart in Jesus' name, amen!
