Those plastic animals that were with the dishes that you threw into the trash can, go with the vintage Fisher Price Barn. It was a sheep at 12:24. It was in the small orange Pyrex bowl. There's another Fisher Price animal in the bin with the green dishes. Those are worth some money. You can just clean them with soap and water and they'll be good. I wouldn't throw them away, I'd put them with the barn when you sell it.

My wife and I look for bargains (we're in South Africa though, where we don't have these kinds of sales) and as we are both creative, she in the domestic and I in the mechanical, electrical and automotive fields, we are able to repair a lot of the non-working stuff or make things from others. He just gets in too much of a hurry. He needs to take his time and be more methodical about the way he goes through stuff and where are his bins? Every ‘organized’ person knows that you bring bins , storage totes...something for sorting. What goes to flea market, what is for EBay and donations and a trash can, for trash would be helpful. Then you don’t end up throwing away the best treasures.
That typewriter ribbon is tangled and that's why the keys aren't working. Fix the ribbon back in place before you make a judgement about whether it works or not! You do frustrate me at times!
