Anohana has a special place in my heart. It has and will continue to have that space in my heart in the years to come.
My high school has an annual play for our sophomore class and I was the 5th year's director. I poured my heart and tears into that play, using the instrumental for this song at the ending of the show. I came back this year and as a tribute to me, the kids who were the previous year's main actor did an acoustic version of this song during their play. I was extremely happy in that moment. I found this cover after the kids directed me back here saying that they used your cover as a base. I cried throughout that night at home, both from this song and the joy of knowing I did something for them.
Thank you so much for doing this, without you I'd probably never have that beautiful memory.

This song hits home in very special way. We had childhood friend group that once was very close. We spend every summer together, we even build real secretbase to one of our friends parents garage. But as time went on we hit the teen years. We all grew up in such diffrent ways we drifted appart. The secretbase base was no more filled with our sleepovers and games and play, it was taken down as the garage was too. And so our group was no more...
But then 10 years passed and as we hit our latter 20's we reunited as we all had became adults, no longer in that akward teenage phase. We all met up. We laugh, we play games and have fun together just like we used to. As if we never were truly apart in our hearts. We were group of friends once again 10 years after.

I feel so sad hearing this song. It just reminds me of the anime. Which everyone should watch it made me cry so so much. I feel like I’ve changed so much recently.
Next year, my best friends and I will have to choose new schools for secondary high school and I already know that we won't be attending the same school. It’s not due until next year, but yet it's stressing me out right now. I will miss them so much, they're really the best friends I never thought I would have... I can't imagine separating our group without feeling sad or crying. This song says almost everything I'd like to tell them when we go our separate ways at the end of next summer... They've helped me so much and I really hope we won't lose contact.
