It'd be cool to add rain, so you not only have to use sticks to supply the fire but to build shelter (I'm guessing the shelter would decay as the game goes on), and you could add new "bosses", so maybe every ten tank-fridges you kill, a better version of the bouncy guy would spawn, and give you even more sticks than the tank-fridges do, and then every 5 of _those_ you kill a better version of the laser guy spawns and that guy could drop stone or something, that you would use for the shelter, that takes longer to decay than the sticks. And as the game goes on, you might have harsher weather, stronger bosses, and more durable materials dropped from said bosses. And it would be cool if every time you give the sticks to the fire it gets slightly bigger.

I think it's worth watching others' dev diaries, because I've seen flocking mentioned in a few before.
Man, if only I had time to keep tabs on other creators! It's literally been years since I've had the time/energy to just sit down and watch a movie! Haha.

I'd love to participate in a game jam! Sadly I don't have that kind of time. Though I have made games based on jam themes in the past, and will probably do it again in the future!

Outside of a few attempts over the years, I simply had units overlap instead of check for collisions. And sure, you could keep resetting but the point is to progress, albeit at your own pace. So if all you want to do is reset the level over and over again, I'm not going to stop you from having fun the way you want to have fun! :D
