A straight guy reacted to Wet Dream and I laughed because he was stunned. His expression was priceless. Then it hit me, that only an open-minded LGBTQ member could do a reaction to the album, justice. Absolutely love AFTERS. It's horny, sexy and fierce. Very naughty but nice. Unfortunately, a lot of people find it 'too much'. Everyone loves sex but when it comes to putting it down in words, some seem to have a big problem when things are spoken out loud. Adam did state in interviews that it was a hedonistic album, of sexual liberation. It is house music, clubby and dancey. This EP is my go-to for workouts. Love all the tracks but Neck stood out. Wet Dream is deliciously dirty, Lube is groovy and smooth, love the disco vibe in the remixed. I love the zingy rock vibe in Face. The only track Adam didn't co-write was Cvnty but he produced that track and it's fierce. This EP is so different from Adam's past releases. It deserves more recognition. But because of the lyrics, it won't get played on air, hence no publicity. The Voice Australia, where Adam is a coach, is a PG program so he cannot perform any of the songs on stage. Another bummer. I hope more people give the EP a listen. It's a great dance album. Period.

Upon reflecting back to the AMA program, I believe that this LP is Adam's way of protesting his expression as a queer man. Those of us who have followed his career since 2009 when he competed on American Idol know that he is a staunch advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Of course, Adam suffered severe criticism for his hedonistic performance at the AMAs in 2009. He has been called a trailblazer for not apologizing for his actions on stage. This kind of music along with the provocative lyrics will appeal to the gay audience in a club setting. I agree that people are uncomfortable hearing one describe his or her sexual conquests in explicit details, but we as a captive audience cannot resist listening, and Adam is banking on that.
