I live for these, "ah, ha!" moments! Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing and giving those of us that dont have hundreds of dollars to pay for instructions or tutorials the chance to further our art!
This is absolutely stunning! As always, phenomenal work. I appreciate your skill and attention to detail. Thank you for yet another wonderful tutorial!
Thanks for the awesome tutorials you do. I thought I'd try this one and for some reason the 28g won't stay together it keeps sliding on the square wire. It's dead soft so I don't understand why it's sliding. Any ideas why? And where do you buy your wire?
hi, thanks for the videos, they are very clear and precise. i would like to know the hardness of the wires you use. here in france my providers don't have all the gauges and shapes of wires i want, so i want to buy them from the u.s. but without making any mistake with the wire hardness. i would like to buy 14 16 20 22 gauge square copper and 16 20 22 half round copper. thanks again for sharing!
Great video... very clear instructions! Thank you! QUESTION: what brand chain nose and flush cutters are you using? I'm in desperate need of an upgrade... Thanks!!
I have acouple 2mm square facets that I planned to use in a channel setting but once set they just didn't feel as secure as I wanted them too. Not as secure as when I channel 2mm round. My question is what kind of setting would you use for 2mm square facets? Channel? Weave? Other? And what gauge?
Any tips for getting the square wire to all sit flat and flush together? It seems like mine always curves or turns itself over halfway through the length of the wire.
Wow...thanks for sharing this. A quick question just to be sure I heard you right - is the faceted stone placed flat on the weave with the pointed end facing upwards? or is the other way round ie pointed end down & flat side up? Thanks...
I always place the culet (pointy part) down. Faceted stones are cut to reflect light and show off the natural beauty of the stone’s colour, if you place them upside down you don’t get the same effect (not to mention for most stones the culet is quite fragile and setting them with it exposed risks damage to the stone). I have seen it done where folks set them upside down, but it always looks a bit lazy to me in wire wrapped jewelry. I prefer to set them upside right 😉
Are you using silver wire? Honestly, if its a big problem you might be able to use round wire next time. I usually have the same problem with certain things.
You are the Bob Ross of jewelry. Thank you so much for sharing your art with us.
Finally! A tutorial that shows how to put those microscopic stones in. I've been looking for this forever

I've been making rings. My first one sucked. The rest so far so good.
Seems to be some kind of ring-hazing-ritual or something...- the first one never comes out the way you want it to!
@@rsukut5866 lol so true
WOW!! Georgous ring!! May I ask why you changed to a 16 g. Half round when closing up the shank?
WOW!!!
would this be the same exact process for a 3mm cab, or different?

Such beautiful work!!Did you use Stirling silver to create this masterpiece?
I did indeed!
Is there a trick to keeping the gemstone in the setting.
how did you get your square wire so straight? thank you
Will you please tell me what all the sizes of wire your using? And what sizes are the pieces your using?
The wire you use is it 925 silver or plated ?it's beautiful you have an amazing talent.
I use .925

fazee abdullah when he talks about the culet side down, he means the pointy end.
@@carriemarsh1634 ooh i wasn't sure what culet meant...thanks for yr help.

@@RaftarkJewelry thank you for the explanation. btw luv all videos!...txs again
How do you get the wires to lay flat? It seems like no matter how long I try to manually straighten them, they end up curved and kinked :0
Are you using silver wire? Honestly, if its a big problem you might be able to use round wire next time. I usually have the same problem with certain things.
Can you show how to make this with 4 different birth stones?
Can I sell your designs for non commercial use?
Tried to adjust this for another design. This setting does not work with marquise cut stones 😂
