I know everyone is calling this a biopic no matter how many times the director corrects the record. It is the story of the meteoric rise of Bob Dylan at an historic time in both the United States and the music industry. He is 19 and broke and heads to NY and establishes himself as a different talent. His song writing will become legendary. Can't wait for this one because this was my coming of age era.

Dylan has been lying his entire life to hide his private life from the public. Since the script was approved by himself and he is a producer of the movie, it's almost certain there will be a lot of differences from historical facts, but it's also certain that the most important period of his career will be shown from his perspective for the first time, which most outsider-perspective biographies of him fail to do. I hope this movie does him justice so that one of the greatest songwriters of all time can be introduced to the younger generations.
