What a NICE museum, I could certainly see spending many many hours looking at all they have on offer... DAF certainly had their fingers in many different pies! I can't believe the size of some of those trucks! I personally like the early designs best, love those curvy trucks.
DAF is the biggest car and truckbrand we ever had here in Holland so everybody is proud walking through this museum , the newer generation Paris-Dakar trucks are HUGE , very impressive if you stand next to them.
Nowadays all new busses here in The Hague are running on CNG , compressed natural gas , no more clouds of black dust when they pull away from the stops.
I am talking around 17 years ago and my company had the bus for a week or two on trial. It was not practical at the time as it took around 25 minutes to re fuel - imagine doing that on a fleet of 200 buses :(

I once drove an LPG (gas) powered bus when I was a bus driver!
