I much preferred this presentation of the band, where they are on stage giving a real legitimacy to proceedings. This is my favourite Su-Metal performance because, unconstrained by the fatigue of dancing, she can just focus on belting out some decent vocals, and the darker nature of this song really allows her to shine.
Everything about this song is a masterpiece from the writing to the rythm, heaviness, performance, lyrics and even references. Still my fav Babymetal song to date.

Three brave Samurai protecting Hime-sama is the image that came to mind here. Suzuka sounds especially good here, and it was nice to see a live video that showcased this particular Kami Band intro (based on Nevermore's classic "The Riverdragon"). It's powerful!

This live version of Akumu no Rondo is by far the best in my opinion. The camerawork is really amazing too, I always tear up at 4:10-4:16 the lighting and focus on Suzuka at this specific part of the music too gives me goosebumps. And 5:30 too of course.
IMO, the Yokohama 2015 is the best version for me. The stage, background(3 big fox head), lightning, costume, kami band line up, everything is perfect..
Dn these musicians are talented as all hell. This is such an epic opening 🤘🤘I can't believe I never got into this band before now. And the 3 girls that head the band must be superhuman to not only do choreography but also sing like theyre just standing there.
A masterpiece about fighting against depression and finally loosing the fight. The light show perfectly reflects the lyrics, see e.g. the "cage" made of light beams when the singer is captured in his / her condition. See also the pantomimic marionette at the end of the song when the singer lost the fight and where reduced to a helpless marionette.

I swear... the era of the Kamis? This lineup? This is when they really felt like an actual band. like, no "JPOP, kuwaii metal, gimmick" bullsht!! They honestly felt like a real band. it really gave them credence with the veteran fans of metal, and even other metal bands. Everything seemed to change when Mikio San passed away... You truly felt like he was the heart of the OG Kamis. I miss these guys, so much..
