I lived with my mother until I was 27, now I live in a group home because I have disabilities, no parent allows some loaf to not work for that long, generally the people that make it to 30 and are still at home are severely disabled, rejected, and scorned by society for (especially in the case of males) because they can't work. We reject society and living in the dark, not because we want to, but because if we come out in public we're instantly judged. I'm much better now, but it's still a daily challenge. The stereotype of living with your mom is because no one would believe any dad would tolerate that.
