- This is the companion minuet to the famous one in G major. Both are actually attributed to Christian Petzold. I am playing this on the front 8' stop of our 1967 Dowd Italian harpsichord. This is what gives the sound its more nasal quality.

Thank you for your kind comments. I too love the wood finish of this harpsichord. I don't know what people charge for double manuals now but you might look at a well made used one. New ones are pretty pricey.

It sounds fairly easy to play. as was Minuet in G major. I should practice this song.

@30inventionman Hello. Many people build harpsichords. This was was made by William Dowd and his workshop in Boston 1967.

@Cj1500 I've been meaning to try that. I don't have two digi cameras right now though. I suppose I film myself playing it twice and then splice in the sections of my face from time to time and mostly keep to the hands. I certainly multiple cameras would make for much more engaging video.

Wonderful harpsichord playing! By the way, do you know what is the usual minimum price for a double manual harpsichord? I don't care about decorations. This wooden brown looks fine to me!
