Afraid there's one tiny little blemish in his otherwise spotless reputation: the game.
(he was a DLC character but unlike Knives he didn't get his own moveset it's just Stephen with a few altered moves, heck doesn't even get a proper ending either just one screen)
What I appreciate about this final twist is that it plays on the implication that Scott could've been Ramona's most Evil Ex of all time.
And he does become the 8th Evil Ex.
And this is easily the nicest Scott there is.
It's a little thing, but rewatching the cast reveal shows the loading bar with 8 boxes
39:09 and they still skipped one of the best jokes of the show.

I find it funny how everybody gives Scott shit for dating a highschooler (and rightfully so) yet Scott is the only person (in universe and without) who's disturbed by Kim making out with her. Now granted Knives is (cmiiw) 18 by the time their drunken makeout session happens in the comic, but in the game she's explicitly stated to still be 17 in the ending credits.
Actually they make out BEFORE knives turns 18 😬😬she turns 18 in a later volume. Honestly the whole band was weird towards knives before she was 18😭get my girl outta there fr fr

I mostly love they managed to get EVERYONE from the movie to reprise their roles.

It's fantastic that 20 years later, Bryan Lee O'Malley still finds a way to play and explore fun new stories with this universe and his rogue gallery of lovely jerks.
I just want to take a second to point out that one of my favorite things about the Scott Pilgrim world is that it seems to exist somewhere in between a comic book and a video game, quite literally. And it's just so good literal perfection. Great reactions as always guys!

I also want to add, and am no way defending scott here hes torally a scumbag, BUT Knives is repeatedly referred to as his "fake high school girlfriend". This show seems to imply scott saw it that way too, like he wasnt really dating her and had no intentoins of doing anything with her, he was using her as a distraction. Which is still hella fucked up to do to a kid, so again not defending him, but i dont think hes as gross as it all makes him seem. Just something I've noticed after years of consuming this universe lol
