Great review loved your video but as always I can’t wait to see you put out a new build is it they seem to be getting farther and farther apart hope you put out a new one soon love your show waiting for a new one thanks a lot
Thanks Donald, I'm trying to get together some build videos. It seems to be taking longer than expected. The holidays got me a little backed up, but should be back on track shortly.
Nice editing when you did the "starting with the bad news first". Nice review. Sorry it took me so long to see this video. I don't think I received a notification for this video.
Thanks RT. I've been paying attention in you live streams and trying to put the tools I've learned into practice. Still have a ways to go. But I'm glad that you noticed. Thanks for taking the time to comment. It means a lot.
Thanks Michael, for a portable pocket-hole jig. I was fairly impressed. It worked well, so I'll keep it around for when I need to take it to a job sight of if I forget a pocket-hole. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. 👍
Thanks Dexter. I thinks it's a neat little jig. I did a head to head Kreg vs Armor, as well as a Kreg, Armor, and Massca review. And independent reviews on all 3. But, maybe I can do a portable head to head. Great idea. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Thanks RT. I did the best I could. I really do like it, and the issues I had didn't really effect the out come mechanically. Thanks for watching twice and taking the time to comment. 👍
Thanks for the review, have been waiting on this one! I don't currently have a pocket hole jig and don't plan on doing many pocket holes, but this looks like a quick and cheaper jig to do them when I do need them. Thanks for sharing the problems as well, glad customer service took care of it
Thanks Jeremy. I think it is a great little jig. And really, the issues I had didn't effect the performance of the jig. Just a slight annoyance. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Let me know if you do get one and your opinion of it. 👍
Thanks Lloyd, Ron? I'm a little confused. But, that's just me. Anyway, I thinks it's a neat little jig. Nothing crazy, but perfect for a portable jig. Thanks for watching and commenting Lloyd, Ronswoodshack.
Congrats Mike. They started treating me pretty crappy, so I never got mine that was promised last year about this time. They did send a prototype for me to use, but asked me not to do a video. A few months back I asked Anthony how things were going and he said they were still waiting. Never heard back after that. Its too bad, their tools are "okay" I had issues with a few of them. Hope the new jig is working out better. Let us know.
Thanks Richard. I totally get it. I hadn't heard from him in a while and it just showed up out of the blue. I like all the pocket-hole jigs. I think they all have pros and cons. I hope they do send it to you soon. I love your detailed reviews. And, I'd like to see what you think of it. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment my friend.
Thanks for the great review - I appreciate the honest thoughts! Looks like this one has some cool features that puts it beyond the Kreg jig I've been using for years. I may have to pick one of these up!
Thanks Jason. I like it and glad we could overcome the issues I had. But, mechanically works well. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. 👍
Thanks Chris. I did a short of me painting it. But never got any traction. As far as the jig, yeah, pretty cool. I mean it's a portable jig. Bit it preformed as expected. I issues I had did not effect the overall performance. Thanks for watching and letting me know the painting is cool.
@@Woodcraft716 I'm sure I missed the short. I skip over the shorts sometimes and then it's funny because I'll watch them for entertainment not on my subscription page and every so often a wood worker I know pops up as I'm swiping through them and I'm like "Hey I know them!!"
Good question. After running out and looking at it. I would say to set it up for the thinner material and also drill into the 3/4" piece. That way, you can't accidentally drill too big of a hole. And you can drill 3/4" into any size board. It will still attach with the proper screws. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 👍
Thanks for the review. Looks like the pocket hole jig race is heating up. I see Massca has a new mini jig that lets you adjust the width of the holes. Pretty soon, that'll have a jig that drills the holes for you. :-)
Oh that's cool. I'll definitely be checking that out. The pocket hole videos are serving me well. So I have to keep doing them when a new one comes out. Lol. I'm waiting for the one that dills it too. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment buddy. 👍
Thank you for the video. I have the Kreg 320 and it looks like they solved some problems that has. I am wondering though if you would recommend upgrading from portable to bigger jigs?
Thanks Christen. I do recommend the bigger versions as well. I've done videos on the Kreg720, Armor Tool Auto-jig, and the Massca M2 Pro. I have multiple videos. Feel free to check those out. I even put a link in the description for kreg vs Armor video. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. 👍

Thanks for another detailed pocket hole jig review... I'm always looking to see if I want to move on to another brand if it offers a good upgrade!

thanx for the video I have a kreg jig been using that I'm not happy with so I was looking into something better and this is it
That's a nice jig. That magnet seems very helpful to make things faster. Good honest review. I think I'm getting the mini jig. Good quality.
Thanks Nelson. I'm glad you liked the review. Seems to be real good quality thats for sure. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Mike, Great review! Looks like you helped them dial in some problems.
Thanks Earl. Dang, how many channels do you have? Lol thanks for watching and your comment buddy 👍
@@Woodcraft716 lol, I nuked two and changed the name and format of my current channel .
Great video. I like the edge guide and carry case. But happy with the one I already have. Do I see a pocket hole king challenge in the future? LOL

Great info as always Mike!
Thanks Gary. It's new. And it's pocket hole. Lol. So I had to check it out. Thanks for watching and your comment. 👍
I appreciate your honest review. It was so good that I had to watch it twice.

Thx for sharing
Thanks Larry! New pocket-hole jig? I'm down to check it out. Thanks for watching buddy. 👍

Thanks Seth. All good hear. Just busy with family and weather. Lol. Thanks for watching buddy. 👍
I’m actually impressed with the caliper setup. No guess work. Customer service seems spot on. Great review Mike. Lloyd….

Good review Mike this looks impressive the way the adjustment clicks to pre set locations. Great black and white slow motion sequence. Tony
Thanks Tony! I was trying to be dramatic. Lol. I do think it's a good little jig. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. 👍
I have what my be a very dumb question. Lets say you are attaching a 2"x4" to a 3/4" piece of plywood. Which piece to you measure with the calipar?

@@Woodcraft716 I enjoy your channel and will try that. But I do need to drill the 2"x4" and screw into the plywood. I can't reverse it.
