I think it depends on what the learner's native language is. Since Icelandic is a Germanic language, it would seem to be easy for an English speaker to find the rules of Icelandic to be easier to learn. So I can agree that to some it may be an easier language to learn on paper such as to read and write. I think it's more the actual speaking/pronunciation aspect of the language that would be difficult. Granted, I do not know as I have never done much research on Icelandic. So I really can't speak from personal experience.
You really think its a Germanic language. If it were I would know how to speak German. But it looks like I don't know nothing about the German language. All I know is how to say "Poop" in German. The Icelandic language is not close to sounding Germanic. Unless you have no ears and don't know how German and Icelandic people sound.
Oh, Icelandic is part of the Germanic language family. It doesn't mean it sounds like German, it means that it's roots come from the same people/geographical area. Today, German and Icelandic sound VERY different; but historically, they derive from the same roots. Sorry, didn't mean to cause confusion. :
so basically, in most catagories, it goes the scandanavian regeon (iceland, sweeden, norway, finland and denmark), the british Dominion's (australia, canada and new zealand)/switzerland and then some other random countries.
@Sofia Permjakova wow, congratz on being one of the happiest countries in the world! I've always wanted to take a vacation to Sweden XD (I'm Singaporean btw)
As a resident on the Island of Malta, I can say our death rate from Cancer is unnaturally high, I lost three Uncles and my Father to various types, an Aunt and my Mother had Breast Cancer and I had a brain tumour though I don't smoke drink etc. Our Island is right near Sicily so when Italy experiences Earthquakes, especially nearer our end, we get them here too, the largest being a 7. one, there are occasionally bomb explosions, which will either be drug related or in the case of one poor Journalist, a means of stopping her reporting on Politics in Malta.
*MONACO?* That is just unfair... People actually almost *DO NOT* live infancy and/or childhood in there! The vast majority of the population in that city is made of ex-pats and people from other places that decides to live there the last years of their life before they die. Monaco is the Florida of France. So this figures get totally wrong. You should include (at least) the life expectancy of Monaco inside France's life expectancy figures.
I think it the title of her should've said "how to workout while on your period", but i guess English isn't her first language... The title of that video was hilarious it almost made no sense, but i guess her looks make up for her grammatical mistakes XD
thats for plenty of countries surprisingly. Some nations really go a long way. Japan, Korea and Germany after WW2. Vietnam has become a kind of decent place.
The Vikings' "barbaric" image is somewhat affected by the fact that we mostly have sources written by the people who got raided by them, aka biased sources. Vikings did raid and take slaves, but the overall culture in the Nordics in the Viking era wasn't really exceptionally violent or dangerous for the time period.
Iceland is 6th at lowest risk of natural disaster!? The whole island is a freakin unstable volcano. No hate towards my bros in Iceland but that fact felt a little wrong. Love from Norway❤️
What's the population there though? Like 3 million? No offense to kiwis as they are some of the nicest people I've met, but ranking high in these categories when your population is microscopic isn't impressive. Same with all the Scandinavian countries. They each only have what, less than 5 million people? Whereas countries like Japan has over 120 million, so it's more impressive that they come out as #1 or #2 when it comes to high life expectancy or lowest number of homocides. Sucks having to worry about earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes though.

Sko, eldfjöllin gætu alveg gosið og já auðvitað er hraun mjög hættulegt en neyðarlínan er næstum alltaf komin með einhvað plan til þess að koma fólki í bæjum nálægt fjallinu í fjöldahjálparstöðvar svo það gæti verið ástæðan fyrir því að við vorum svona hátt á listanum fyrir hættu frá náttúruhamförum af því að við erum tilbúin eldgosum og jarðskjálftum.
eeh, I never worry about the fact that a volcano might erupt any time soon... It doesn't feel like a threat to me.. It's not like it happens every year...

Hear that guys, come visit us. Come visit Iceland, and breathe that fresh air. But if you like the cold like me and my fellow Icelanders then you maybe would like to live here guaranteed.
Yeah, except that whole "Icelandic language is considered one of the hardest languages for a native English speaker to learn". :p
But really its one of the easiest languages to learn.
so basically, in most catagories, it goes the scandanavian regeon (iceland, sweeden, norway, finland and denmark), the british Dominion's (australia, canada and new zealand)/switzerland and then some other random countries.
iceland and finland aren't scandinavian

So In other words just move to Europe

Nope. Go exactly to Canada, Scandinavia, Czech Republic or good micro states.

Hello, Swiss bloke here, just wanted to say that pain and suffering is universal and does not discriminate. ;-;
it does discriminate in fact, compare pain and suffering in Syria to pain and suffering in the the UK and you understand
You should include (at least) the life expectancy of Monaco inside France's life expectancy figures.
you forgot to mention that those people are also millionares..who can afford the best medical treatments
All of this was made just to make you buy a mattress

If you consider 7 minutes a mini video, then what do you consider a 2 or less minute video?
I think it the title of her should've said "how to workout while on your period", but i guess English isn't her first language...
The title of that video was hilarious it almost made no sense, but i guess her looks make up for her grammatical mistakes XD

RLL: What is the safest place ON earth
Iceland: *good question*
Its amazing how countries that have arguably the most barbaric warrior years ago (vikings) is now the safest place to live with low murder rate
But what amazes me more is the smooth ad transition by the sponsor.
thats for plenty of countries surprisingly.
Man the transition between ending and the promotional video is very smooth
aka a "segue" and you're right it's a very nice segue. Didn't skip a beat
Everyone let's go to iceland

Mr teach , yes
It's always windy here in iceland
Mr teach done I’m already in iceland
No way, I am already running to your place. :)
Japan with lowest homicide rate gets its head of the country killed💀
Iceland is 6th at lowest risk of natural disaster!? The whole island is a freakin unstable volcano. No hate towards my bros in Iceland but that fact felt a little wrong. Love from Norway❤️
Yeah, that one got me thinking...
It´s true, we have alot of volcanic activity here. Our volcanos erupt relatively often. Doesn´t make sense

Já, sæll vertu :)
The volcanoes are not a too big of a threat to us.

Ayyyyye New Zealand is one of the most happiest countries.... and least air polluted
Finland too
+theworldhere247 about 4.8 million
Lol I’m in New Zealand and I’m guessing you are too.
FoxesAndCats I used to live in New Zealand but now I live in Northern Ireland lmao
