Andorra‘s „smoking problem“ is only because the Spanish and French travel there to buy cheaper cigarettes...
Yeah exactly
You cant just divide number of cigs sold by number of adults
Thank you! I was looking for this comment!
Ah, that makes sense. It didn't occur to me but I knew it wasn't the heaviest-smoking country in the world. I'm sure on that basis Gibraltar would be even higher were it classed as a country.

Exactly!
Coming late to the party, I have to explain Belgium. Yes, it had the highest official registered covid cases in the world, but this was mainly due to its more fair way of registration through its health system. Most countries only registered cases that were proven 100 percent to be caused by covid, while Belgium also registered cases where the doctors of the deceased suspected Covid to be the cause.
Not the only country which did that.
Doctors have to write a cause of death, so in a lot of places, when the patient had covid that was the easy way. No need to scan for anything else.
Same happens with elderly. Cannot write he "just died because he was 102 years old". So in flu season it's flu, in other cases the doctors look at the medical history and write something from the complications of those, and done.
in Russia too
@@iwankazlow2268 True, but in most countries with much lower cases reported the what we call ‘oversterfte’ or extra deaths when compared to the same period last year(s) was much higher. If you would include this ‘oversterfte’ figures would be very similar to those in Belgium. Otherwise it is hard to explain the huge difference between Belgium and its neighboring countries. The population density and makeup is almost the same, as is the level of care and quality of the healthcare system. So if these factors are mostly the same the way the figures are produced seems to be the culprit.
Exactly. Belgium should have been nominated for being worst letting people keep their hard earned money.
Culture also seemed to have a large effect. Just look at Denmark Vs. Sweden (or Germany).
As a Dane, I can confirm that it's hard to make friends in Denmark, but it's not because we hate other people.
Introversion is just very, VERY widespread, and people will more often than not choose not to talk to others simply because they're afraid there's going to be akward silence making it all uncomfortable and embarassing.
Combine that with easy access to entertainment on the internet and most people just rarely ever bother to get to know others.
I think there's a cultural attitude of dislike of strangers, which makes opening up to people quickly a bit hard.
@@paulvontarsus729 That only applies to people that look like Middle Easterns. Any other foreigners are seen as interesting by far the most.
@@davecullins1606 As a black African, i have no problem making friends in Danmark. i hate endless otherism politicians and youtube commenters like you.

@@davecullins1606 My partner lived with me for two years in Denmark and she’s Central European, and she agrees that it’s very hard to get through to them even if you speak the language. Even for me, as a Dane, I have found that it can take years to be properly accepted in a new group of friends. You usually make friends when you’re young and then you largely stick with them. We’re not cold people but getting through and establishing a solid group of friends is very difficult if you didn’t grow up in Denmark.

And tbh I don't think that's true. There are huge amounts of donations happening inside Greece but not through NGO and non profit organizations. People will usually go directly to the person in need. I've been to Andorra, and I'll tell you why you are wrong about the smoking statistics. The number you cited isn't how much Andorrans smoke, but how many cigarettes are sold per time unit per capita. Andorra, just like many other tiny countries (San Marino, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco...) profits greatly from having much lower taxes on things like cigarettes, alcohol, gasoline etc., because the inhabitants of the neighbor more populous countries (in this case Spain and France) are frequently visiting there and buying these things in bulk. @@ipertatosellinas615 war crimes what war crimes? Jokes aside you can’t expect a country to pay reparations 60 years later cause you suddenly need money. Not to mention you have high debts from Germany too
As German I can say the homeless problem here is pretty bad especially in big cities. I first thought we would get the price for the worst internet but Cyprus won that one.
its true, not only is slow but very expensive too like 45-55 euros for 100mbs
My uncle live in Germany love from 🇵🇰

Nah you haven't seen other big cities. Berlin for example has very few homeless people compared to let's say Paris
Hey you think your country has problem with homelessness? COME TO MY COUNTRY INDIA😂😅
Being irreligious is a win. I'm not finishing this video.

I thought it's about what every country in Europe is worst at and not best.

He obviously hates Europe, he rarely compliments them
He didnt even talk about Portugal. Should I be offended or happy

Relax dude, he's just spitting the truth. I think it's quite good to realize problems of society, otherwise we would not progress as a humankind.
Belgium is the ABSOLUTE worst at making a government.

Also, why would that be bad? I can choose any seat I want and never sit next to strangers 😌
So many of the statistics you have shared are by no means negative aspects. Also a lot of people in neighbouring France and Spain hop over to Andorra to load up on cheap cigarettes (sales tax differential). This partially explains the inflated smoking rate
Finland: Most Depressed Country in the World
Also Finland: Happiest Country in the World
*Confused Stonks*
For real this was kind of explained at one report. As the main factor is the general access to healthcare, therapy and goverment support without much trouble
So we are depressed, yet our goverment tries to help with that
@@lukalaa1764 yea, the happines survey probably means living conditions which are good, not straight up happines in life
Wasn't Greenland the most depressed country in the world?
I guess this is because life is too easy in those Nordic countries
When everything is given to you and everything works, life becomes too boring
That’s why poorer countries have low levels of suicide... there is always tomorrow to live up to whilst in perfect countries it doesnt matter whether you do nothing or work really hard, you will always get the same every time
@Wuanslm I had a similar thought when I heard that, the reason it's the happiest country is because all the depressed people commit suicide (morbid, but hey). The north of Belgium (Flanders) has the same problem.
