What do you mean by "consistency"?
If you mean "weapon recoil" it's not true, the spray control visualization shows in comparison that the recoil is the same, but the accuracy of duplex munitions is less in total than that of conventional ammunition

I mean it makes sense to have a better 2 tap in close range but the gun will not shoot straight beyond 20 m. And at that point, sks would a better choice.....?
Idk if you noticed, but the recommended build for DR-H uses the 25 Round OTM Mag, but the commentary states it's not worth using over the 30 round variant, despite the lack of downsides.
I’ve been maining this gun way back when it came out in the OG, season five or season six, and anyone who uses the 30 round mag over the 25 round mag is a fucking idiot, and is only hindering themselves.
The BK "adjustment" feels more like a nerf. Increasing the first range barely does anything to help the gun, since you cant get a 3 shot without headshots even with 7.62 mags. The base 4 shot range used to be comparable to the K141, but now its the same with the M4, and the M4 has a better fire rate with arguably easier recoil
The BK really didn't deserve this. Really hope they'll revert the change
Also i think ranger barrel is the better pick for the ASM10. Has less penalties than Branson and increases range and BSA. The base 3 shot TTK is already faster than most guns and the Branson's hyperburst only works if you manage to land all of your first 3 shots on the enemy.
The Subsonic rounds are the best choice for the ODEN, the insane 50% increased BI of “2.25” (BULLET IMPACT) causes enemies to miss their shots EVERYTIME via hit flinch if you manage to hit them first, on top of it functioning as a silencer for your gun, that removes the need of a muzzle attachment, giving you the choice of using weapon perk “Disable” or any other attachment for that matter instead of wasting it on a silencer however I will say the Duplex Ammo is very good for “average” players that find it hard to “land their shots” especially when the enemy is using a lot of “movement”, it essentially turns your gun into a pseudo-shotgun(Jak-12)
Finally someone says it. The subsonic ammo is op asf. It also increases bullet penetration which when paired with gmj gives best bullet penetration in the game. Only problem it has is terrible bullet velocity but if you can manage and you can hit shots oden subsonic is super rewarding

Hopefully the MSMC recoil buff is significant. It has the worst recoil of all Close Range SMGs

You can use either. But the fire rate is slow enough that the additional 5 rounds won't make a big difference.

Are you guys high? Why is the duplex ammo on oden? It doubles the bullets shot but literally *halves* the damage, effectively wasting a slot for cutting your mag size in half and a +30% bullet spread...
It turns into a shotgun and it acutally gives you better damage. These dudes aren't stupid you know, they analysed it and figured it out. Cant say the same for you though
