As much as this is obviously the "bad ending," I think it gives the best setup for a potential sequel. Especially with Varyyn remembering everything, and Endless's flashbacks showing that certain things are "constants" no matter the timeline...I feel like fate would end up getting the Twelve to come together as friends in one way or another.
I wish that they make a story (book series) that's in the same universe. It can be like It's' Beneath or anything else which is affected by your ending (or maybe not, I'm fine with anything)

Honest question, but is it just me or does Diego kind of look weird without his long hair and beard, as I remember when the book first started and it was like that, it was fine and not much else about it, but now that we’ve seen him with a beard and longer hair for a while now, does anyone else think it’s weird seeing him like he was in book one

I agree.. but I don't know.. Vaanu seems a bit sad to me. Our friends all get happy endings but we just disappear for good and get reduced to a memory. I chose Endless by the way. I know it sounds selfish but I actually really HATED Rourke and wanted to see him perish. Plus, you also have a whole tropical island now all to yourselves and that kinda makes up for a happy ending right? You can finally have a future you want together with your partner (I chose Quinn btw) and maybe even start a family and probably have a future as well.. together.
The Rourke way is the worst possible choice in my opinion and I can vouch with a few reasons you guys might agree to; Sure we saved everyone and turned back the clock, but at what cost? Nobody really remembers any of the adventures we had, we lost all our friends and now Rourke is the lord and ruler of everything. Things go entirely in Rourke's favor and he wins. Everything we fought for and tried to protect is gone, no more La Huerta, Lundgren and his Arachnid troops are now practically superheroes ffs, Jake and Mike are wanted again only this time hated as well, Quinn's Rotredams' is back which means she'll eventually die for real this time and the Vaanti are now all probably captured and at the mercy of Lundgren for all we can know; which is a sad fate for them.

So let's say that hypothetically PB decides to make another book seriers after this one, where are you going to get the premise for it? Well lets take a look at the endings, Vannu ending: Rourke receives just for hus actions and the PC 'moves on' so to speak so no sequel that I can see there. Endless ending Rourke dies along with all major threats to the cast and your stuck on the island nothing really worth doing there. Rourke ending on the other hand has the PC swearing vengeance on Rourke for what he did and only you knowing what happened so in terms of a sequel that is really the only option. Unfortunately.

We figure out a way to get all our friends their memories back, free the Vaanti and stop Rourke once and for all and also give our friends the future they were looking forward to only this time, WE will have a future as well. Honestly speaking, I really want to see my MC Taylor end up with Quinn and raise a family of their own and everyone stays happy in the end; helping Quinn fund her cause to save lives, Aleister and Grace start living together with a family of their own with Grace as a successful artist or whatever she was lol, Sean becomes a famous footballer and marries Michelle (or your MC if that's what you want), Jake and Mike win the case against Lundgren and start living a happy bachelor BFF life together, Zahra becomes a rockstar while Craig marries her and becomes a famous video game producer himself, Raj becomes a famous chef, Diego becomes a professor and lives with Varynn and finally Estela eventually finds someone she loves (it might be you if you want) and lives with her tio

Is the best ending in my opinion even though you die, vanuu is free, the world is fine everyone gets to do what they planned to do and they reunite at the island every few years to remember and commemorate you... is a good ending. But all the endings suck in their own way, I decided to play the ending again and choose the endless and I regret it because it sucks, yeah everyone is together but they have to look at the world burn in the horizon... every night. Every ending sucked in their own way.

He isn't mentioned in the ending and we don't even see him so I don't know if he went back to Ely'stel and sometimes comes and chills with our character and their friends and his husband Diego or what. While everyone was together I feel bad that some of them wanted to leave and are unhappy. It really sucked. 😔 All three endings are horrible but this third one was painful to watch.

That line just screams a spinoff book but of course Pixelberry won't do that, they have to pamper the larger audience and keep Vaanu's ending, as they say "the true one", because if this ending ends up being cannon and we get another book beginning from this, the masses will begin crying and thrashing like little babies because "Vaanu."
Worst ending. The Endless was right. Rourke promised everything and took everything we fought for. Sure Estela has her mother back, but she's aloof again. Jake has his friend back, but now they're both fugitives on the run from Lundgren. Rourke promised Quinn would be all right, but he lied; her disease is back. The Vaanti still exist actually, but they're imprisoned, and Varyyn also remembers everything. Only positive: Diego still becomes your friend and it all ends on hoping the same for everyone else.
I honestly think that this ending is still better than the Endless's. The characters might be cold and distant to Mc but they're actually acting like in book 1 thus i believe that if they were a family once, they can be like that again. And the scene with Diego was the best! Especially when it gave us the chance to see how they became bestfriends.
...And I'm here feeling truly sad for chosing the "Endless Finale" and keeping myself and my friends on the Island... Until I saw THIS, and now I feel totally broken :'(
I like the part about the Endless and seeing her memories I chose Estela as an LI because Sean Jake weren’t that cute in the story but I like how all the LI had a partner and throughout the whole story I kept thinking that Zahra and Estela could have been a couple and they were in the memories😍
To be completely honest, after this ended, I don't even want to play Choices anymore. With this and TC&TF being done, I just don't believe they can nor will make a book that even comes close to the quality of these two. Nonetheless, thank you to PB for such amazing stories.

Ok so what is this companies policy on fanfiction? Because I have a few ideas on how to fix the endings. In this ending it should be continued into a mini book like Rules of Engagement. Zahra is still into her hacker life and is watching video of the Vaanti. She becomes more interested in the Vaanti and Varyyn when she discovers that Diego is a classmate of hers. She looks into the resistance against Rourke. One day the MC sees what she is doing and Zaraha tried to cover it up but then we explain the timeline we are from and how we wanna stop Rourke and she believes us. MC and Zahra join the resistance. Diego comes along for the adventure because he has a friend in the MC. We get Sean to join after some persuasion. He is tired of living under his dad's shadow. Alestier is still angry with his dad so he joins too. Grace's mom is locked up so she joins to save her. Michelle is reluctant to join because she believes the sorority sisters are her friends. You show her they are not from your knowledge from her idol and she joins. You tell Quinn about how their might be a cure for her disease and she joins because she doesn't have much time left anyway. You personally invite Raj, no covincing needed. Estella joins when you tell her about how her mom has been manipulated by Rourke. Jake is already a part of the resistance and you first meet when you get to the resistance base. Then finally Craig joins, but only so he can betray you and get recognition from Rourke and be seen as a hero. The book would then follow how you and your friends would grow as a family unit like in the last timeline while taking down Rourke.
What do you guys think? I came up with the idea fairly quickly. Would you like to read more? Would this story interest you? Any ideas of your own to add to this senario?
Abhirio Appreciate it. I'm thinking of writing this as a fanfiction on Wattpad or some other fanfiction sight. I have other ideas on how to fix the Vannu ending as well. If PB are lenient with fanfiction maybe I could share it with other fans.
I am thinking that everyone would band together to try and take doesn't Rourke and his followers. They would do stuff like setting Graces mom free, meeting Jakes parents, fighting against Sean's father, etc. I'm thinking that for the end of the story everyone will eventually go on to be the people we saw from the embers of hope, and in the case of your love interest, their future would be altered to include you in it. Quinns would be more interesting because the MC and she would try to get the island heart in order to cure her disease. With Jake, you would travel all over doing stuff to help people after he was proven not guilty of treason like what was shown in his ember. No idea what to do with Sean and Estela yet though.
The only open ending where there is still hope to make things right so I say this one is the best. I believe the twelve' s friendship and the love with the LI were the constants in all timelines so they will eventually all come together again to free Varyyn and stop Rouke

tik tak for me it was between this one and vannu’s ending. I ended up choosing vannu’s but I wanted this one to see them all at hart field. Didn’t know it would of been like this tho
I chose this willingly. I romanced Jake and I couldn't stomach seeing him so heartbroken in the Vaanu ending. At least in this ending there was a chance that you could recreate all your friendships AND your LI. Rourke being a major dictator sucks immensely (not to mention Varyyn and co. basically being enslaved). But I like to think that we would band together and take Rourke down again. But you know ... whatever you tell yourself to justify being with your LI :p I couldn't pick the Endless ending as it meant killing off the entire world, which I thought was ultimately worse than a dicatorship.
Rourke's route is too awful to play. You may change the world, but you will lose everything. If you use Endless, you have no choice but to stay in La Huerta. If you would bring the Heart to Vaanu, seems that you will make an heroic effort at your own expense.

Idk but I really have an unpopular opinion since I really liked the ending with Vaanu it kinda made me tear up knowing that Cassidy isn't actually real but really happy at the same time as her friends are still the same, remembering everything and Rourke being put to justice. I know some of you will disagree but this have been the best ending of a book in choices(don't attack me I never played the crown and flame I heard it has a good ending)
so i’ve been looking over these comments about how this and the endless ending were terrible but my honest thoughts on it is that the best ending would be the Vannu ending because the other characters made it out alive and with their memories of the island and meeting our MC and getting the closure they all needed, i would think that the endless’s ending is the second best option because while stuck on the island; they do still have each other (which they mention on the roof) i think the only reason people don’t like this ending is because they don’t get to see their families, but in my opinion they wanted a fresh new start on the island: together, and then we have this train-wreck of an ending… i honestly don’t know where to begin, first, the memories and relationships you developed are all dust, everyone has to worship Rourke, Quinn still has her Rotterdam’s and will die in 6 months, our MC isn’t happy, and worst of all Varrynn has been caged up and broadcasted on live television. I hate this ending 0/10

I wouldn't say this is the worst ending if you look at it in a global scale. The world is not a ball of fire and billions of lives have been saved. Yes, they're under a dictatorship now but that can be fought, an apocalypse can't be. Yes it's the worst situation for your friends but the second best for all of humanity following the Vaanu ending.

Doesn't this not quite make sense? The ages and birth dates we're given in book one would suggest that they're not all in the same year, but this ending shows them all as freshmen?

Because Varynn is in shackles, Rourke is the emperor and imposing to join and force the people to join the army for no reason. your friends don't remember you and hate you kind of... except diego. This would make a great ending IF there was a book 4 but sadly there ain't so Vaanu one was the best.

@@kitty-drawl, this is my first playthrough of Endless Summer and I picked The Endless's ending because I loved the friends so much and wanted to be with them and I was thinking about Diego being with Varryn. He isn't mentioned in the ending and we don't even see him so I don't know if he went back to Ely'stel and sometimes comes and chills with our character and their friends and his husband Diego or what. While everyone was together I feel bad that some of them wanted to leave and are unhappy. It really sucked. 😔 All three endings are horrible but this third one was painful to watch.

That line just screams a spinoff book but of course Pixelberry won't do that, they have to pamper the larger audience and keep Vaanu's ending, as they say "the true one", because if this ending ends up being cannon and we get another book beginning from this, the masses will begin crying and thrashing like little babies because "Vaanu."

Worst ending. The Endless was right. Rourke promised everything and took everything we fought for. Sure Estela has her mother back, but she's aloof again. Jake has his friend back, but now they're both fugitives on the run from Lundgren. Rourke promised Quinn would be all right, but he lied; her disease is back. The Vaanti still exist actually, but they're imprisoned, and Varyyn also remembers everything. Only positive: Diego still becomes your friend and it all ends on hoping the same for everyone else.
I honestly think that this ending is still better than the Endless's. The characters might be cold and distant to Mc but they're actually acting like in book 1 thus i believe that if they were a family once, they can be like that again. And the scene with Diego was the best! Especially when it gave us the chance to see how they became bestfriends.

I like the part about the Endless and seeing her memories I chose Estela as an LI because Sean Jake weren’t that cute in the story but I like how all the LI had a partner and throughout the whole story I kept thinking that Zahra and Estela could have been a couple and they were in the memories😍
To be completely honest, after this ended, I don't even want to play Choices anymore. With this and TC&TF being done, I just don't believe they can nor will make a book that even comes close to the quality of these two. Nonetheless, thank you to PB for such amazing stories.

None of the endings are good. I honestly don't think any ending will ever really move me again like the ending of Crown and Flame book 3
Skyler Maves the crown and the flame is probably the best book in choices.. it's quite hard to match even surpass it I think.. :/

That kind and sweet girl is still sick and dying...

I kind of wanted Varryn to be a love interest to MC but alas Diego gets him. Anyways I truly fell in love with Diego's character and would want the best for him.

Long ago I got a request saying that I should make a walkthrough with female Li since I cannot afford to invest diamonds all over again and record it, i thought I might as well do this ending with female mc lol
Ok so what is this companies policy on fanfiction? Because I have a few ideas on how to fix the endings. In this ending it should be continued into a mini book like Rules of Engagement. Zahra is still into her hacker life and is watching video of the Vaanti. She becomes more interested in the Vaanti and Varyyn when she discovers that Diego is a classmate of hers. She looks into the resistance against Rourke. One day the MC sees what she is doing and Zaraha tried to cover it up but then we explain the timeline we are from and how we wanna stop Rourke and she believes us. MC and Zahra join the resistance. Diego comes along for the adventure because he has a friend in the MC. We get Sean to join after some persuasion. He is tired of living under his dad's shadow. Alestier is still angry with his dad so he joins too. Grace's mom is locked up so she joins to save her. Michelle is reluctant to join because she believes the sorority sisters are her friends. You show her they are not from your knowledge from her idol and she joins. You tell Quinn about how their might be a cure for her disease and she joins because she doesn't have much time left anyway. You personally invite Raj, no covincing needed. Estella joins when you tell her about how her mom has been manipulated by Rourke. Jake is already a part of the resistance and you first meet when you get to the resistance base. Then finally Craig joins, but only so he can betray you and get recognition from Rourke and be seen as a hero. The book would then follow how you and your friends would grow as a family unit like in the last timeline while taking down Rourke.
What do you guys think? I came up with the idea fairly quickly. Would you like to read more? Would this story interest you? Any ideas of your own to add to this senario?

I am thinking that everyone would band together to try and take doesn't Rourke and his followers. They would do stuff like setting Graces mom free, meeting Jakes parents, fighting against Sean's father, etc. I'm thinking that for the end of the story everyone will eventually go on to be the people we saw from the embers of hope, and in the case of your love interest, their future would be altered to include you in it. Quinns would be more interesting because the MC and she would try to get the island heart in order to cure her disease. With Jake, you would travel all over doing stuff to help people after he was proven not guilty of treason like what was shown in his ember. No idea what to do with Sean and Estela yet though.
The only open ending where there is still hope to make things right so I say this one is the best. I believe the twelve' s friendship and the love with the LI were the constants in all timelines so they will eventually all come together again to free Varyyn and stop Rouke

tik tak for me it was between this one and vannu’s ending. I ended up choosing vannu’s but I wanted this one to see them all at hart field. Didn’t know it would of been like this tho
I chose this willingly. I romanced Jake and I couldn't stomach seeing him so heartbroken in the Vaanu ending. At least in this ending there was a chance that you could recreate all your friendships AND your LI. Rourke being a major dictator sucks immensely (not to mention Varyyn and co. basically being enslaved). But I like to think that we would band together and take Rourke down again. But you know ... whatever you tell yourself to justify being with your LI :p I couldn't pick the Endless ending as it meant killing off the entire world, which I thought was ultimately worse than a dicatorship.
So this ending made me sad.. Quinn will die then..

Rourke's route is too awful to play. You may change the world, but you will lose everything. If you use Endless, you have no choice but to stay in La Huerta. If you would bring the Heart to Vaanu, seems that you will make an heroic effort at your own expense.

Idk but I really have an unpopular opinion since I really liked the ending with Vaanu it kinda made me tear up knowing that Cassidy isn't actually real but really happy at the same time as her friends are still the same, remembering everything and Rourke being put to justice. I know some of you will disagree but this have been the best ending of a book in choices(don't attack me I never played the crown and flame I heard it has a good ending)
so i’ve been looking over these comments about how this and the endless ending were terrible but my honest thoughts on it is that the best ending would be the Vannu ending because the other characters made it out alive and with their memories of the island and meeting our MC and getting the closure they all needed, i would think that the endless’s ending is the second best option because while stuck on the island; they do still have each other (which they mention on the roof) i think the only reason people don’t like this ending is because they don’t get to see their families, but in my opinion they wanted a fresh new start on the island: together, and then we have this train-wreck of an ending… i honestly don’t know where to begin, first, the memories and relationships you developed are all dust, everyone has to worship Rourke, Quinn still has her Rotterdam’s and will die in 6 months, our MC isn’t happy, and worst of all Varrynn has been caged up and broadcasted on live television. I hate this ending 0/10

I wouldn't say this is the worst ending if you look at it in a global scale. The world is not a ball of fire and billions of lives have been saved. Yes, they're under a dictatorship now but that can be fought, an apocalypse can't be. Yes it's the worst situation for your friends but the second best for all of humanity following the Vaanu ending.
It is the worst ending in any of the Choices book series because Rourke ruins everything.
Why can't there be 4 endings when nobody dies everyone that comes back alive a still remember you. You can go home or go to the island anytime you want.

Because Varynn is in shackles, Rourke is the emperor and imposing to join and force the people to join the army for no reason. your friends don't remember you and hate you kind of... except diego. This would make a great ending IF there was a book 4 but sadly there ain't so Vaanu one was the best.
