I was gifted IT by a friend. I was never interested in reading his books but I tackled IT (even though it took me a month) but it was so good!! like I enjoyed it so much more than I would've expected. Maybe some useful info to know: it's not quite as spooky as it is advertised, and stephen king also liked to put a lot of detail into the like setting of the book (the town etc) so be ware cuz it could get difficult to get through at times. all in all I do def recommend!

If you want to read Stephen King I suggest starting with Carrie, it was his first novel and I believe it is his shortest so it doesn't feel intimidating by being a brick of a book.
