Description so this video is more searchable: Today I went book shopping and made a vlog of it. I went to Barnes & Noble and Target and bought 5 books. I also ordered one from Amazon. I bought a book of every single color as a fun reading challenge.

My all time favorite series this year!!! And it pains me when people read once upon a broken heart before Caravel !!! There are soooo many Easter eggs and spoils if you read that one first. And Jacks!!!! You neeeeeeed his back story!!!!!

I'm soooooooooooo excited to see that Cinder is on your radar. The Lunar Chronicles is my favorite series, and I was really hoping you'd read it since you're getting into fantasy now! Marissa Meyer is also my favorite author, and since I feel like Cinder will be on the back burner because it's part of a series, I'm going to also recommend Heartless by her since it's a stand-alone book. At the target where I moved from back in June had a small book section. I still got two books from it (To Kill A Mockingbird and Five Survive). I originally went to get tabs for when I annotated my own copy of 'And Then There Were None' by Agatha Christi. I predicted how all the characters somehow died.
I love this idea. Instead of buying more I am going to shop my shelves and come up with a TBR.

Caraval was my most anticipated book this year and sadly I was so disappointed. But I hope you like it
i hated the hazelwood tbh😀😀 but it was also my first fantasy so that could be why
To me book buying ban is silly because what if I see a really good paperback on a really good price? I work in a shop and I can get 2x paperbacks for £9. It is not a book shop though so we have very limited selection. But when I do see something I know I want to read in the future I will buy it because otherwise it will be double the price later on amazon or in an actual book shop. At least this is what I tell my husband!! (Last night I gone home with 4 books and I alreasy recieved 5 in thr mail this week😅)

Great Brittain is the main island while United Kingdom refers to the political side where not just England, Wales and Scotland are but Northern Ireland also belongs under UK administration.

I saw that Binding 13 was one of the books you’re interested in 0:54 and as someone’s whose watched a bunch of your videos I definitely think it would fit your taste- it’s a ♾️ star read for me. (Plus, they meet on her first day at Tommen College when he hits her in the head with a rugby ball, like how cute is that?!) I swear the romance will have you squealing and giggling in bed at 4am in the morning (and some moments will certainly bring you to tears)! I know that it’s super important for you that you can root for the protagonists and I PROMISE you it’s not physically POSSIBLE not to love every single character (except for the crazy amount of f-ed up people that hurt Shannon even though she’s literally the sweetest kindest person in the world). It is technically classed as a young adult book but I don’t really think it should be given the hefty trigger warning (please check it beforehand) which are basically just the horrible things that happen to/are done to Shannon (and her brothers). Anyways, I pinky swear you will NOT regret it if you read this book (and I would be freaking stoked to see you reading it in a video)
Oh and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue 3:11 (another book you mentioned) can be a really nice read for some people but you (like me) might find it a slow read and the main characters are pretty unlikeable
