Ash, also one tip for you: when you use Nogdar's A3 and the target is with low HP, instead of going A2 you can just kill that unit with the A1, which will then grant you an extra turn and then you can hit them all again. I find this quite useful because it will lower the cooldown of his A3

@@Neuvillete4.6he definitely does with 119 saved up. Ive been burning Hydra and saving every primal and have 26. Unless they massively changed it with that recent update. But good for Ash, he can do what he wants
Nogdar fan club member here! Love the dude. I prefer to sacrifice some attack for speed since his passive isn’t max turn meter and I also like to farm extra turns with a1 rather than aoe with a2 to try and get back to another a3. That’s most likely a result of not going all out attack though.
it was nice to see a small Brassclad highlight at the end. he was the first lego i ever drew. carried me in early arena alongside Oboro. such a great champ. i only took him to 50 for the longest time but ive recently picked him back up again and taken him to 60. one of my favorite champions. dude's passive does so much work, he has such a great kit.
I just got him as a first pulled lego. I was disappointed initially but I will give this dude a try after watching this video
About two months ago, I pulled Nogdar from a double legendary event and I couldn't have been more happy. Not only has he been invaluable to my arena team but he also helped me overcome a progress mission hurdle that paved the way to finally obtain Arbiter. Any champion that breaks that kind of barricade for me is more than welcomed on my roster.
The funny thing is, I tried him with Cardinal(not Cardiel) Wukong and Lydia in live arena. He absolutely shredded guys like Taras and Rotos since his HP balancing isn’t attack or damage even. Taras got brought down to 1 HP as well as Rotos. It was hilarious how effective it was against some meta champions.
I’ve had this dude in the vault for like two years and never built him. First bc I had other priorities for books but then I think I just forgot about him. Now he’s gonna be my next 6 star. Might be a fun/annoying team with Godseeker, Raglin and Wukong.
So for his Passive and his skills, Last Rites seems interesting. If he comes back with 50% HP and then Last Rites sacrifices 50% of whatever his max hp is (but says it can't kill him) this would reduce him to 1hp right? Then he equalizes hp with the enemy, so now the enemy has 1hp...then he gets a extra turn, does his A1, kills himself with it and comes right back again correct?
If you have Sachi, I highly recommend using him on a team with her. His self revives will trigger her fear debuffs. It's a good way to keep the fear debuffs coming

Nogdar has been sat in my vault for a lifetime but I knew that Uruk-Hai rip off was a juicy little chap. Maybe one day I'll give him the love he deserves, happy to see you shining a light on him
Yes, Nogdar is pure awesomesauce, pulled mine some months ago, built him to hit like a truck, and then it's just... pure bliss, people don't know what he does, he dies, then - pop! Back up! And wth is that turnmeter full doing there? Haha! It's just fantastic. Gotta love that dude, thanks for the vid Ash! (And Ash's editor!).
Edit: Regarding oils, the basic ones are the ones I'm always needing, gotta fish those %'s outta the bottom row! Ps#2: Astralith's another underrated, no ACC HP trader & bomber.
Ps#3: On the second fight, the one with Brassclad, I would've target hopped with his A1, 'cause AoE's got for starters, a -5%dmg mastery, and also your dmg would've gone up 6% per kill🙂.
On your advice from an earlier video, I put Nogdar in Frenzy and he is massive fun! Watching him popup after falling and then blasting away is fun, and with each kill, he follows up with another attack. Sometimes he will get two or three consecutive kills! He dies easily, but as long as he dies first it's all good.
Frenzy has been changed : it brings NO value to Nogdar anymore ! 😞
Nogdar is my favorite Champion in my collection right now. He can completely wipeout a team by himself if things go well. So fun, powerful, and just generally fantastic. He's great in Doom Tower and Cursed City as well.
Ash, SHHHHH! Don't need the attention brought to this champ. Been using him as sneaky secondary nuke in live arena. Seriously though, love the content and glad to see this champ get some CC love.

Used Nogdar as my rebuttal to every Mortu team for the longest time! He was kitted with Frenzy gear back when frenzy was increase TM for decrease HP. Even at low spd, he would just get turn after turn after turn becasue he could swap HP, get a hug TM boost, kill with A1, another turn, revive = loss of HP so when he revived on passive he already had a full TM some times 2! After frenzy gear changed to debuff=TM increase I removed his gear and haven't built him back up...I also love that the passive works if you revive one of your other dead champs. Say you got Nogdar and Candy dead, bring Candy back up and now your team has 3 living champs, so Nogdar procs and revives as well!
Also positive that his A3 doesn't count as a hit. So HEX from Mith won't proc Gaze of Stone!
If you have shu-zhen, the shadowkin void leggo, you can have nogdar faster than her, use the aoe so that he is 50% health, then shu-zhen gaves him extra turn, he uses a3, leaving him with 15% hp, (because of the heal), and then leaving the ennemy also with 15% health. I think that IS a broken combo, leaving any tank with 15% hp is extremely OP
Nogdar is legit one the best pulls I ever had on my account. My arena performances improved drastically. He became my anti-UDK. He literally is Ultimate Death Knights worst enemy in the arena. He completely solved the stall outs I was having against UDK . I love how his last rites skill ignores block damage buffs. Any player that pulls Nogdar is hitting the jackpot.

I actually started using Fenax in the arena as per your advice. I started killing teams i usually avoided with tons of revivers. I love it!! And he really hits!^Thanks man. totally underated
I've been using Nogdar for several months, he was one the first leggos I pulled. He is OP, frankly.. I take out most of the "impossible" tanks out there qite easily, with him. If they hadn't nerfed Frenzy, he'd be even more OP

You used to be able to put him in Frenzy, does his A2, get full turn meter, than A3 something down to basically no hp, then a1 it and dead. Not sure if they fixed the Frenzy set with him yet or not.
He is probably my number 2 nuker, Ive faced you twice in LA using him both times and managed to get the win ^^ People always underestimate him, but guess that might change now xD

Noooo! Now you've told everyone how cool he is. He was something like a joker for me because nobody takes him seriously. Since his buff, I've used him a lot in the live arena and he's helped me win many, many times.
I have a duchess, trunda, and genbo and he is my favorite. He gets 7 turns in a row sometimes
I use him on a go second team and I would highly recommend the selfless defender mastery to soak up damage AND keep your team alive better

I'm not a giant pvp player. But I run a +4 Errol with 8k+ attack, 350+ CD in Savage and Cruel. Nobody bans him and he can wipe pretty much everything in one turn. He's so fun.. you should try him out. Waaay underrated. I get excited when people ban Rotos or Barron and leave Errol.
Ok Ash, I've had homeboy sitting at 50 and never used for years, but now I'm building on your recommendation. I thought this guy was hard nerfed when they broke Frenzy. So I took him off my build list.
I'd be curious pairing Nogdar with something like a Godseeker for choice rezes to reset the A3 CD... Could be a cool pairing, just need to work around the passive rez for when you don't want it.

Great video! Nogdar was one of the few legendaries that I have a dupe of. Only one of which is "built" in ok-ish gear and at level 50. Would love to 60 him and really build him, but I only have so much nuker gear to go around. I feel like I'm decent at getting good champs, but the gear to put on them is very very sparse.
Hey guys i need some advice, i just pulled aniri godseeker but i also get scyl of the drakes in 5 days. not sure what to do now. should i 60 aniri and use scyll as 50 for awhile til i farm food again?
I vote Godseeker 1st. Far easier to book.
I run the "default" nogdar team with Cardinal, Sun Wukong and Hephraak. Its my favorite team to play, Nogdar is slow at 140 speed and cleans house just fine. 8200 atk, 285 CD with 6* soul reap,. I have dropped 700k power teams in arena with them.
nogdar... when i pulled em i was nowhere near as happy as i should have been. #1 arena champ for me. was even better before they changed frenzy imo. he's still a beast.
I did the Nogdar and Sun Wukong combination and it was good, not perfect but I'm not lvl 100 yet. I don't have the other champs you have for the whole team.

that team with Taras, Duchess and Arbiter might seem like strong but when you saw team power it is only 1/3 of your team so it felt easy because it was most likely easy (probably mid game player)

I pulled him actually and remembered how much Ash loved him, but his rating on certain sites didn't seem to take the buffs into consideration. I'll consider building him, but I defo don't have the gear shown in the vid. I really do need a couple more proper nukers though.

My comment is not related to this video. But my question is about the proper order to level up and ascend champions. I have noticed when upgrading champions from level 5 to 6 that rather than increasing, their total power drops. Im not sure if I am doing something wrong.
It tends to be the medium oils I'm always short of as well! As for Nogdar, he has surprised me in arena once or twice, so I'd experienced how annoying he can be!

The Taras team was EXTREMELY weak, player level 66, 183k total team power, not a good example.
i use mine with Yoshi ,Tormin,and Mighty Uuko..i m very happy with that team for offence
Ash you should check rats video(bobby/top plat player). He did a nodgar video when he got buffed using him against plat on reset. Also he has some crazy interesting and unexpected champs in offense when he tries to win, he really has a great use for some champions that are considered usless and that at the top of the arena

Also word of advice wu kong and nodgar passives clash so if wuukong get revives after 4 turns nodgar passive goes cool but if he doesn't get his chance to attack after wukong revives he will die perm unless a reviver revive hime
You could run hime with Valkanon for some fun too. Would unlock his block revive big hit and spring Nogdar back up to go after.

Im in the same boat with oil ash. Always out of the greater oil, and have way more of the other 2 just from farming 25. Dont get it. Maybe they need to buff the drop amount of them like they did on the lessers.

Pair Nogdar with Wukong if they both die it doesn't matter. When wukong self revives it will activate nogdars passive and revive him also.

For the OP enemy team. The first time u fought them, You should have gone after Arbiter instead of Siphi, she had a much higher turn meter. Nogdar would have been able to come round to Kill Siphi. Also Siphi can only revive one Ally.
Lets look at the win rate in live area percentages:
Silver 3: 44.36%
Silver 4: 49.57%
Gold 1: 55.80%
Gold 2: 37.86%
Compare to Sun Wukong
Silver 3: 51.06%
Silver 4: 51.48%
Gold 1: 51.17%
Gold 2: 49.16%
Might be worth a buildout since not enough people will bother to counter.

i have nogdar but im lower on power level, not midrange account yet, and i dont know how to build him at lower acct level and just put him in the vault.
Watched your last vid on Nogdar - I have him but have crap gear & very few good teammates to pair up with him. Fast forward 6 months I think with Sun Wokung and maybe the addition of Fahrakin the Fat, I may have a team to build ...... but gear is still crap. *sigh

Nogdar is on my UDK killer team. I have only run into two on opponent teams. He needs to be the weakest member on the team in my experience, to be effective.

Yeah he is misunderstood by me. Couple years ago when I started i got him before I found your channel I saw the kit and decided I don't want a character that can die by his own attack and i traded him to 6star another then I found your channel and learned how to use him and now I can't get him back again... Now I don't trade any Legendary even if it's not good...
