Yeah, anyone who actually tries to learn the game and puts some time into it for a month could make all these guesses in under 10 seconds. The biggest 'trick' you can know early on is which countries are on google maps. Theres only like 5 or 6 african countries, basically half are either nigeria or south africa area.
Well yeah but you can only be so lucky and so accurate there is simply to much in the world for the modern average person, no life-ing the game or not to consistently guess really close, really just depends. Not suprising people are definitely going to be able to determine country and rough area but like if they are getting the specific town or city as well consistently then likely its cheating
There are certain areas that pop up, certain Google vehicles are giveaways. The Mongolia guess was obvious, it's very unique looking. Also learning what various text looks like allows you to figure out places like India, Cambodia, Thailand, Sri Lanka
If they meet in Ireland again, it'd be funny if tried real life Geoguessr, where someone takes them to a random part of Ireland to see who can name where they are first.
As a gold-ranked player (nowhere near the best in the world, but starting to kind of get good), I don't see any cheating at all here. Here's how I would explain each guess you called out: 8:30 Black car with that much of the back visible in South America = Peru/Uruguay/Argentina. From the landscape alone you can narrow it down to Uruguay/northeastern Argentina since it's not tropical, not a desert, and doesn't feel super far south (colder). And then the fact that the license plates are black instead of blue would confirm Argentina. 9:18 Those large street signs with small writing and a crest are a Luxembourg thing. 10:33 The car with a tarp on its roof can only be found in certain regions of Mongolia. 12:56 Dirt roads through the forest with a flat landscape and a lot of pine/birch trees tends to be a Baltic thing most of the time (can also occasionally be Finland/Sweden/Norway). The language on the sign Brian finds at 12:33 would indicate Lithuania/Latvia (haven't figured out how to reliably tell those two apart from each other yet, but it's obviously not Estonian/Finnish/Swedish/Norwegian), so just guess on/near the border and hope the other person doesn't see the sign in time. 13:30 Red car with Cyrillic alphabet = Ukraine. Definitely looks like the "click in a big city and hope for the best" strategy from the other team. 15:06 A lot of the time, these city park rounds tend to have signs somewhere that can give a lot of info. I actually looked this one up myself, and if you had gone in the opposite direction you would have found Danish flags and banners for the Copenhagen Natural History Museum. 24:40 I didn't see anything from your POV that specifically stands out as Denmark, but if your opponents found an intersection with signs pointing to nearby towns they definitely would have gotten Denmark from the unique red+white color scheme that doesn't show up anywhere else in the world. And given how close it was to Aalborg, there's a pretty good chance whatever signs they found would have said something about it. 29:58 White license plates on personal vehicles and yellow license plates on commercial vehicles (like the van Nogla saw at 29:54) = Denmark. 33:03 Spanish language, the mountains in the background, and the semi-dry-ish but not really deserty climate would indicate somewhere near but not inside of the Atacama desert (southern Peru, western Bolivia, northern Chile). The blur on the license plates is a bit blue, which would confirm Bolivia since they have blue text on a white background while the other 2 use black text on a white background. Since it's a city, it would pretty much have to be either La Paz, Cochabamba, or Sucre (Santa Cruz de la Sierra is a lot greener than that), and it ends up being the one that they didn't click. 34:36 The picture is oddly blurry/out of focus, which is known as "sh*tcam" in the GeoGuessr community. It can only be found in India, Sri Lanka, and parts of Cambodia and Ecuador. The language doesn't fit for Ecuador or Cambodia, and if the other team found a car driving on the left side of the road that would have ruled both of those countries out too. Sri Lanka always has yellow license plates, while India has a few different colors. Since the motorcycle at 34:07 has a white plate, it would have to be India. India has several different written languages, and the best players will actually learn how to tell them apart to guess what region of the country they're in. But that's way beyond my current level. 36:34 There was an Albanian flag right at spawn. 37:02 In Albania and Montenegro, there's a bug where the images don't quite line up properly, which leaves blurry vertical lines called rifts in the sky. They're not there 100% of the time, but they're pretty common. If the other team saw the rifts (they're high enough up that you won't see them unless you're specifically looking for them) and found a sign that was written exclusively in the Latin alphabet instead of both Latin and Cyrillic, that would 100% be Albania (Montenegro uses both alphabets). Rifts can also occasionally show up in a few countries outside of Europe, but this was obviously not any of those countries. 38:59 Those concrete telephone poles with the holes in them are a Romanian thing. And the sign Nogla found at 38:37 mentions a major city, the main highway, and several other nearby towns. Definitely 5k-able if you take a minute or two to zoom in on the map.
Considering they got a barren field at 10:22 almost exactly, within 6 seconds, it is a little sus. No landmarks, no time to find any languages, no people around, no streets or any details of any kind.
@@GuntherWenk That car only appears in Ulaanbaatar, the main east/west highway, and the towns/cities along that highway. There is a city visible, but it's not built up enough to be Ulaanbaatar. It looks like they just went for 1 decently-sized city on each side of Ulaanbaatar (Chinggis and Erdenet) to make sure they'd be somewhat close no matter where in the country it ended up being. And honestly if you're going to pick a random city east of Ulaanbaatar, Chinggis is the only one that really makes sense. there are little things in this game that are easy to memorize, your Nigeria round theres what we call a follow car. its that white police truck. The Mongolia guess where you thought they were cheating, they weren't that blueish pack on the roof of the google car with the snorkel is ONLY used for coverage in Mongolia. If you get a Snorkel on the front right of the car with no blue pack on the roof its Kenya. Roof rack that you can see 4 bars but only one has black tape around it, thats Ghana and there are little things like this in a LOT of places that people just memorize. Also not all countries have coverage so youll start to learn that as you go to

Also not all countries have coverage so youll start to learn that as you go to
Im so far behind the meta
We want more Geoguessr!! twice a week as a seperatley upload from your ordinary scheduele!!
Nogla has actually done quite a bit of traveling it sounds like.
Can't believe the isle of man came up, up the manx 😆
Please do more of these
I love this game! Keep it coming!
It'd be cool if Terroriser and Nogla could play geoguessr with W2S and Miniminter
Them chatting shit in team chat is hilarious
07:15 My guy said Douche de louche for Dulce se Leche 🤣
Those cheaters had them pretty spot on. You could tell they were using Google man. I usually suffer the same fate when I am in Mario Kart Tournaments. Keep doing you, guys! Your videos keep me from my depression and make me very happy!
Sure they're cheaters in game but once u watch pros like geostique, blinky or rainbolt. You will be amaze how quickly know the place without cheating. They can even guess the place in seconds
The guys talking trash in geo-guesser is funny😂
23:16 Nogla, you searious?! as croatian, you really could have gotten more point if you followed your damn mouth!
Hell yeah i enjoyed do more of this 👍
We need more geoguesser
I didn’t expect my home land of the Isle Of Man would appear on this.
Love geoguesser keep up the great content lads!
I wanna see more nogla vs brian geoguesser, let this become a series. Anyone else.wamt that
i never trust those people who's characters look like dwarfs. i have had a few games against players with dwarf characters and they are almost always spot on. i feel like they script or smthning
Love the geoguesser videos, some of those other teams were a little bit sus for sure.
I just like that you guys are having fun
I love how they found Evan’s mom😂

Skill based match making kicked in after the first match
Feel blessed nogla saying New Zealand so many times
"remember when we played a Mario Kart tournament against spanish people and they also cheated then"
I deffinatly remember since thats how I found Nogla, Terroriser and RT
Tbh i'd hate playing against these two, when they guess the country "yeees lets gooo", when opponents guess the country "noo way, they googling, cheaters etc" so salty😭
5 hour (the longer the better) Livestream?
More Geoguessr Coop, must destroy the googlers
