I just had a realization today after having this song on repeat. By its literal definition, a heatwave is "a prolonged period of abnormally hot weather": an intense change in a region's temperature. Wouldn't love be the same? When love comes around, we feel an intense wave of emotions. Our feelings are a lot more active in response. And just like a heatwave, love fades away just as quickly as it rolls over us. The melody, the sound, the vibe of this song perfectly captured that feeling for me.

This feels refreshing in many ways, giving nostalgic and casual feelings like I've been enjoying this all my life but at the same time unique and special like it was the first and only time I could enjoy it which hypes me up to enjoy this nicely and let it vibrate in my insides, one day I will come back and enjoy this purely, gl! ^^

It's really good!!! But you do have to kinda stick with it, and a couple of the episodes ran out of animation budget so they look like literal garbage but it's so much fun, and the show in general doesn't have the *greatest* animation. Otherwise it's one of if not my favourite shows :3c
