Flight Simulator 2020 - MSFS Update - City Update IX now available

In this video we will explore City Update IX. This update focuses on North-Eastern US and specifically on: Washington, DC region; Buffalo, New York; Allentown, Pennsylvania area; and the East End of Long Island, New York.
The update is updating the aerial imagery, new digital elevation models, and TIN (triangulated irregular network) surface texturing for this area.
If you fly there tonight you can enjoy the nice fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July.

If you have not done a lot of VFR in DC and in Maryland I suggest you give it a try to see what the scenery generation engine in MSFS 2024 might look like. For huge parts of the state of Maryland, gone are the cpu generated buildings and in their place is a perfect 1 for 1 recreation. Every house, building, park, etc. It is all in there. The trees are better, the roads, better, the map tiles are much better. It is like playing a new sim. All of DC is like this as well as parts of Virginia.
