When I leave a cash tip I write "cash" on the receipt rather than $0 to avoid the misunderstanding that it means no tip was left because of bad service. You might consider doing the same to prevent those phone calls about your room service experience.
Plus if the recipient is worried about "claiming" it, this gives them opportunity to fib/lie about how much the tip was. "Oh he only tipped me $2" (versus $20 bill)
I’m a travel agent and your dinner time question is almost right on the money because Disney will cap their numbers for kids if the sailing hits capacity for what the nursery and oceaneer labs can handle.
That dinner time question is a doozy. My husband and I do not travel with children, however, I adore children. That said, unruly children are unruly because their parents allow it. Therefore, I don't like parents of unruly children.
Disney cruises are really expensive, so people with bigger families (more then one kid) get more bang for your buck on Royal. And it’s ok, I have kids and they annoy me sometimes too 😅
Enjoy your videos! We were actually on the Fantasy at port with you in Falmouth. You likely saw a lot more kids on the cruise this week because the timing is when I suspect a lot of kids may be on “Fall Break” - that’s why we traveled on our cruise then. Our Fall Break is typically the week before or of Columbus Day.
Hey! If you want to pay in cash for the tip, instead of writing zero, I always just write cash on the line. Just a suggestion so then there is no question about service.
If you wanna know how many kids are on your cruise, always ask a crew member because they have that data. We tend to ask this every time we cruise and we are always able to get an answer.
As a family of five with three kids, we had to stop cruising with Disney. It is double or triple the cost, which does not make much sense for a Disney annual pass holder and Florida resident. So we turned to Royal instead. We went on Utopia for the weekend and it was $2500 when the Wish was $5300.
Blessed Holidays, my views n queues fam!! I always tip cash daily. For room svc, I always write cash tip on receipt as this very thing used to happen to me.
question for you. my husband and i are seasoned dcl people. (gold). we want to try another cruise ..which would you thing would be our best ship to try for our 1st cruise on a ship other than disney?
Dinnertime question: how much do you guys donate to the casino on a cruise? 😂 And when do you start getting cruises comped? Finally how much does it cost to upgrade from the comp inside to a balcony?
Speaking of Tipping.... Do you also tip in cash to your Room attendant and wait staff? Bc I know they usually add it to our card on file and we always bring cash in envelopes for each of them. We always go to customer service and have them take it off and let them know. Once I actually showed the customer service person at the desk the envelopes with money bc I don't think they believe me.
They are always fantastic. Lots of machines, free wights, exercise mats, treadmills, ellipticals. Every ship huge or small always has a great gym. Oh, with classes, too.
These parents probably just want a dang break and let their kids do what they want so they can try to enjoy their cruise. Which I get, but if so, send them to kids club or just go without them. Otherwise, you gotta parent your kids!
Dinnertime Question: Oh! My! I love watching your videos but notice the food portions you both get seem huge to me. Do you have a high metabolism? At times, your appetizers alone would be enough for an entire meal for me. LOL 😃

Same! Came here to say exactly this 👆🏼.

That's great. Thanks for the idea.
Was gonna say the same! 😂
Same here!

Dinner time question: How many cruise-related Starbucks mugs have you currently collected? Ship models?
Omg blessed be the fruit we got a new video 🎉, happy thanksgiving everyone, I’m thankful for lots of things and Views and queues is on the list ❤️
I love tired Brian and Kerry, it’s the closest to tipsy we’ll ever get and I feel like Kerry especially has no filter when she’s tired 😂
💀💯

Hey, don't knock Grandmas. We can have fun too! Lol!
Oh calm calm down. They were just talking about the demographic of the particular cruise they were on. Lots of families, parents, kids...

Really wish you would try Princess cruises! Loved Regal and Royal. Slightly older demographic perhaps, but fewer kids is great!
Happy Thanksgiving

I always just draw a line through the tip spot. I've never had a problem doing that. Maybe the zero attracts their attention more!!

$5300 for a weekend?

Dinner time question: Why did you stop adding the intros and next episode previews to your videos?
Oh kids with bad parents annoy everyone!
Regarding tipping, how much do you typically leave at a speciality restaurant? Enjoy the videos.
let’s enjoy it. Go to the party oh yeah party on the ship Royal Caribbean.🎉😮😜
Love all your videos but why am I always hungry after watching you guys?!! Lol
Lol!!!
Write the word cash in the tip line, and then you avoid the worry
I agree with the cash tips.
Whoooohooo no. 11 in the likes…love you both! ❤❤
Bryan “one doesn’t simply pass up sorrentos pizza on a royal ship” lol
question for you. my husband and i are seasoned dcl people. (gold). we want to try another cruise ..which would you thing would be our best ship to try for our 1st cruise on a ship other than disney?

What are the gyms like on cruise ship?
They are always fantastic. Lots of machines, free wights, exercise mats, treadmills, ellipticals. Every ship huge or small always has a great gym. Oh, with classes, too.
You’re ready for Viking.
Wonder if this sailing was Eligible for the kids sail free promotion? That could be part of it.
From what I understand the only real "fashion police" you have to worry about are the laws against wearing camo in certain Caribbean countries.
I think Jamaica is one of them. Pretty sure our travel agent told us that when we went there two years ago.
On my last cruise Barbados was one of the countries where this was an issue and Royal made a note of it in the Cruise Compass.
lodi ja jaja 🤣🎉🎉

Yay!
2nd!
When I see kids without parents around it annoys me too and I’m a parent lol people. People need to watch their own kids.
Please bring back the longer videos
The kids on a Disney cruise are better occupied and other cruise lines they run free and don’t have direction
