Thank you guys so much for coming out to MN! Grant and I have always enjoyed watching your guys’ UA-cam channel. Thank you for allowing us the the opportunity to show you guys our sport. You guys were absolute naturals out there! We can’t thank you enough 🙌🙌🙌
Great video by the SXS team, Grant & Erika with the Shitti Skippers team are great people and extremely talented on the sleds!! Awesome exposure for a awesome growing sport!!! Great Collab!!!🤘
Being a 35 year mountain sled veteran. I have ridden a sled every month of the year. I have crossed Utah lake dozens of times on a mountain sled. A sled is very effective on water . Snow is full of air. The problem is they don't float. I have sunk even a four stroke. Just don't get the clutch wet.
That sport is intense! I’m surprised their channel has less subs than mine. Not for long I bet. So cool of the blog to collab with a small UA-cam channel. Respect 👊
Awesome video. A few years ago 3 guys were trail riding at night and missed a 90 degree turn at a shoreline. 2 let off and unfortunately didn’t make it. They were found about 100’ from shore. The 3rd held it to the bar, 6 miles across the lake to the far shore. I can’t even imagine seeing nothing but waves in your headlight knowing survival depends on holding on for a few minutes and having no idea what shore will look like. Trees? Cliffs? Morings? All on stock sleds where water through the vents can make the belt slip and take it out of your hands.
So glad Steve is a part of the Blog channel. Good dude with many hidden talents we probably don't know about. Doug's comment about riding on the Bay was pretty funny..."Probably once."
Running sleds on open water has to be some of the most fun you’ll ever have. It’s unreal how forgiving they can be, and how you can carve through the water.
I've only rode on a pond once, but it gives you confidence when riding over a frozen lake in the winter, just knowing you can ride out if the ice breaks. It's a wild ride for sure.
I've not had chance to get my RZR or traxxas sledge water skimming and now you show this! Love the flexibility to try new, possibly stupid things and introduce new people and channels for entertainment and money sink holes ;)
This made me laugh thinking back to my Aunt moving to Texas many many years ago before Jetski's were a thing up here in Michigan... Told me she saw some on a trailer and had no idea why those snowmobiles looked so funny....
I grew up in MN across the street from the Maki family, Mark Maki was a pioneer for watercross since the late 70s and its a wicked cool sport. He held the record for awhile for longest snowmibile ride on water with like 61 or 62 miles, i cant remember which
This has been done on Lake Oakland a few years ago with a stock sled in Oakland county Michigan!!! But this was still a sweet video to watch!!!! Keep up the great content guys!!!
One of my FAVORITE videos you have done...... awesome to go just hop into something new. Honestly better you guys went FIRST to see how it worked out, or you would have been boring compared to the pros. Sweet
I live next to a lake and really want to make a purpose built water cross sled. Every time I get a sled to do it to I fix it up and it ends up being my favorite sled to ride for a while. That and I am pretty sure there will be that one person who calls the cops on my lake the second I rip past thier dock in July on my sled. You should come up to my area this winter and ride.

utah is great!
Maybe a little flotation would make it a year round machine.
You're so old your snowmobiles were pulled by dogs!!!😂😂
@@jaredperez5558 Up yours J-rod!
@@b1dodge oh come on DW just giving you a hard time.

SXSBlog definitely needs to bring them on a trail ride! With SXS's or when you get new sleds this year!
whoever the man is showing them the ropes is so chill and seems like a real live decent person
So glad Steve is a part of the Blog channel. Good dude with many hidden talents we probably don't know about. Doug's comment about riding on the Bay was pretty funny..."Probably once."

TWO STROKES AND FALL TREES 😲🙌💯🤙😎🏆LOVE THE FIRST FALL VIDEO ❤️😎🤙💯🙌
Nothing beats you're first water skip, surprise Leo didn't got for it to
Bad back..... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Steve is definitely my favorite Tarantino look alike! His quick head nods of approval make me want to drink a beer with him!
Always here to See the SXS boys ridin snowmobiles! That season is coming! 🤙🏻
You know these guys are serious when they have a fire extinguisher strapped to the tree.
Doug and Steve need to head out west this winter and test their skills on a Mountain sled in the Mountains.
Bad freaking A!!!! Huge thumbs up, that isn't as easy as it looked
I was clapping for you Doug way to go man. That was entertainment
Good on Steve for getting back out there!
Oh man blog video on my birthday and they're water skipping sleds... Freaking sweet!
The Adrenaline rush I got for Doug and Steve was overwhelming I could imagine how yall felt that makes me want to go make bad decisions 😂
If you have not driven a snowmobile on water your missing out! Such a fun time
When a two minute ride leaves you so exhausted that you need to buy 2 new toys.
Those are some good running 2-strokes!
Prolly the best video in a long time , very kewl thanks for sharing
U guys are funny as hell! Doug you’re the master! I watch most of your videos
I could listen to this all day!!!
I’m glad this channel has grown and you guys are doing well
Running sleds on open water has to be some of the most fun you’ll ever have. It’s unreal how forgiving they can be, and how you can carve through the water.
Leo: Can we take it out on lake Huron or something?
Doug: Probably once.
Haha. Perfect answer
One of the most bad ass videos to date
“See how she just kinda cruises?…… sea Cadillac”
💀
Do not let cleetus see this lol. Hell yeah Doug killing it!!
Maybe Grant and Erica can advise ya'll on the future water sleds builds?
My guts and face hurt from laughing through this whole video. 😂
Awesome snowmobile content guys! Love it!

Natural athlete, that Douglas. Cool content. As a southerner, I had no idea this was a thing.
Snowmobiles are made for water, change my mind! You guys be rippin! 🤘🇺🇲
I've not had chance to get my RZR or traxxas sledge water skimming and now you show this! Love the flexibility to try new, possibly stupid things and introduce new people and channels for entertainment and money sink holes ;)
Doug is looking up mountain maxs on the way home to mod and tear up the Great Lakes !
That was awesome. Now you gotta bring grant and Erica to you’re shop to try out 2j and hellforce.
Hit the thumbs up if you were legit happy for Doug on his first try!👍
This made me laugh thinking back to my Aunt moving to Texas many many years ago before Jetski's were a thing up here in Michigan... Told me she saw some on a trailer and had no idea why those snowmobiles looked so funny....
Driving a vehicle that you know will not float has to be a trip. lmao
Let’s help @snowmaxperformance get over 2k
Why is it that you guy's are not at 1 million subs yet ? Mind blown
First time i was nervous but once you go it feels very stable. Then you get cocky test your limits and sink haha. We recovered it the next morning.
Okay,Okay, That is the coolest thing ever!!
We want Erica more 😂
She’s a doll..
She has an amazing attitude
She should start her own UA-cam channel what a great smile😊
And the way she would outshine most guys on a snowmobile says alot! That chick is probably riding wheelies on a liter bike for all we know 🤣

Yep across yellow lake in Webster. I grew up in grantsburg, everyone did watercross. Maki won it for years
I race watercross in New Hampshire. Awesome to see you guys giving it a try! Come east and try turning left instead of right!
This was awesome. I been snowmobiling all my life never been on the water
She’s gorgeous…
Mail order form Ukraine I understand there are some beauties over there.

I can see what might be next for sxsblog especially Doug a racing snowmobile sled that is water capable
That was a lot of fun to watch! You need to come to Utah and ride some mountain sleds in the steep and deep!
I recon Doug could wheelie a unicycle 😎
Doug Norris could for sure

“Peninsulas make me nervous too, all the time.” 😂😂😂
